HOT WIIIIIIIIIIinnngs! HOT WINGS on their way!

Just dropped another $40 into wings and we are now in the process of gettin' them done! Cut up some ripe peppers from the vine. Did up a Jamaican Yellow (actually red - ottawahotpepper seed source), some BP7Pot (from... well if you don't know who you probably aren't ment to ;)), and some Datil peppers (smokemaster seed source). We'll also be doing up some defcon2, Marie sharps Hab Heat, and some Tobasco Hab sauce. Gonna cook them up JayT style. I love these wing days. Pics to follow...

I can't believe chicken wings have gotten so expensive....

Back in 1991, they were .17/lb. The meat department would practically GIVE them away. Now, they're more expensive than any other part of the chicken.

OOF......

Now get off my lawn!!

Yeah, I see them for $2.89 a lb. and cringe! Never thought I would see the day when I find them on sale for $1.49 and am happy about it.

SOFLO Posse Summer Boogie Night 2010

Wish everyone could be here for this. 5-O came down from the ATL, SumBits brought the jeep over loaded with hot peppers and ambitious ideas. A night of debauchery ensued. We solved many of the worlds problems, and then quickly forgot our solutions, so we ended up repeating the same stories and opinions as the night turned into morning.

So during intense home renovation, I installed a beer tap in my kitchen for these such occasions.
In honor of an evening with 5-O and Sum, I ordered a keg of Pabst Blue Ribbon, with its honey color and quaffable carbonation (they recently added more hops to the recipe).
PBR goes well with everything, especially:
FROSTED FLAKE HABANERO CHICKEN FINGERS
TOSTONES w/ SERRANO MOJO
SERRANO-SHRIMP CEVICHE
We let 'er rip. Enjoy. Notice the golden lager glistening in the background.

Thanks, I realize they are not the best pics, the focus is on the endless supply of PBR. We were all thumbs with the camera.

no cans here. Went with a whole keg. It was more fitting for the occasion.

I befriended a manager at a local sports bar and she just orders me kegs of whatever I want at her cost. Good friend to have (on top of how cool she naturally is)!!!!
