I gotz Pacific Cod tonight for taco's. I just whirred and stirred some sour cream, garlic, vinegar, and cilantro to party with teh fishness. Posting pics manana. I eat tacos so much I should probably start a taco thread.

Took a note from SoFlo and deep fried some pacific cod for the taco's. Heavily dusted with my pequin powder. Cheap wine in the guitar cup.

A little avo, shredded cabbage, and a simple baja sauce (sour cream, cllantro, garlic, vinegar) green onion and cllantro.

These fish taco's go to 11.
 
do you steam up the tortillas, or flash fry them or something? I always find corn tortillas a little dry unless I do something to 'em first.

Sometimes I sprinkle a little shredded cheese on the corn tortillas and nukem' for 15 seconds. Other times I brush a little olive oil on and then nukem'. I never have problem with dry tortillas.

I always get corn tortillas, as to me, flour tortillas are ick. Depending upon certain factors, I either wrap them in a damp paper towel then nuke, or brush with olive oil then slap on a hot skillet on both sides for about a minute or two.

"Certain factors" largely depends upon the brand of tortilla, as well as how fresh it is and how much time I have available. I need to find another source for tortillas or start making my own, as the grocery store where I shop has stopped carrying a decent brand, and now only sell their own. Their own, unfortunately, turn to mush when nuked in a damp paper towel, and have next to no flavor. D***, I miss living in Texas!
 
im so down for a taco thread

i make taco's once in a blue moon, because when I make tacos' i buy enough shit to make like 20 of them, and eating them myself takes a week and a bunch of microwaving, and tacos are not like hot dogs, they taste like shit when microwaved
 
I just ate some more of the non-existing queso. Forgot that the camera is in my car so still no pics. Maybe later today. No one seems to want to play tonight. What the hell 4am on a Monday morning and no one is around. What? Do you people have jobs or something? (I have today off):lol:
