See you in 3 and a half days... Save me some!

Ok thus is kinda after te fact but I have to be give credit to frydad firydad for the recipe. Tonights menu is for Italian Beef with Jalapeño potato salad and homemade sourdough rolls. Again geemie, no black pepper was harmed in the preparation of this meal.

My Gators won. Wahoo.
I'm buzzed (which for most people means DRUNK!!!)

Here's what I came up with! Got my Italian Beef on crusty cuban bread. My italian rolls didn't work out like I hoped they would.
These were crusty and delicious!!!

So damn drunk! Shouldn't have mixed cheap beer, southern comfort, and jim beam. Oh well. I can't stop smilin!

FD Dude we need to get together and do some DC Cookin together. I think we'd create awesomeness that might just blow Bears mind all the wa to Kentucky or maybe even to Pi front door in Chi town

Wow you two! I'm half Jarred (Pacific time). CJ's got something VERY similar in the kitchen. Do I need a POL to post pics of it?

Hey - I've never posted toasted before! Not with pics anyway! ;b Seems like shredded meat was DC vibe today! Personally, I've learned to have Mexican meat of any kind on hand on Saturday night's is just a good thing...it keeps Scovie happy! So I missed the Italiano train, but here's my Mexicano take on it: the juju's in the uber-super simplicity

1) last night's leftover pot roast
2) sauteed red onions and chopped jalapenos
3) Scovie's chile powder - god only knows what that consists of, but it rocks!
4) last night's onion gravy
5) more chile powder
6) diced green chiles

let it all cook while I veg on the couch watching football.....shred with fork and cook sum more, until the liquid is reduced to nuthin'. The rest of the pics speak for themselves. Scovie's only 3/4 jarred, so the plate looks all nice & neat right now...but there's a reason our kitchen is painted chile-colored!!!!!!! hahaha Gotta go now...working on a jalapeno popper dip to take to Salsa Lady's tomorrow. I loooove playing with my food!!!!!!!
