Grant, it all looks good, but the Drunken Chef thread is not an all around cooking thread with shots.
The DC is like when you get home from the bar after 5 or 8 too many hhwiskeys, and raid the fridge,
Trash the kitchen, slurr your words, then pass out. drunk first then cook.
Most of your posts might be better suited for,
What was the last Spicy meal you made, Burgers, Steaks, Pizza, or even create your own.

Damn right I did a beer run to 7-11 and picked up an Italian sandwich... and then pimped it.
Sandwich was salami, peperoni, ham, provolone, and had some sort of secret sauce which I think is a mayo mixed with dill. Pimped it with some stadium brats, some pickled jalas, some mozzarella, some raw sweet onions, and some deli mustard.
Then tossed in the bot...
Pimped 7-11 sandwich right after a beer run. Money.

I am envious that I can't post more in here because at best now about every other week I allow myself 2 beers before I take an ambien before nite nite.

Bump. No one is cooking DC-style anymore? Weoll, I am. I have my jumbo vodka and tonic with one of my kid's flexy straws, and I have spicy shrimps two ways; scampi with fettucini, and jerk with a major kick from smoked Scorpion powder. Here's the action:
This sauce was all about Drunken Chef improvisation. No fresh lemons, no fresh garlic, no white wine, NO PROBLEM. Drink another and then substitute the bottled lemon juice (with a little sugar and chicken stock to cut it, roasted garlic from a jar, and Marsala wine. Not exactly Red Lobster's Scampi, but it turned out damn good.
Some Hippy Healthy Harvest Pasta and Mrs. JayT is all smiles for this one.
Gotta admit, the only heat in this thing is a about a teaspoon of red pepper flakes as it is mainly for the missus, but I promise you I am bringing da heat with the Jerk Shrimps.
