had to make a little drunken grub this evening.
first thing first i cooked two pieces of maple bacon,then threw the shell on the skillet in the bacon grease :drooling: a few spoons of canned chili,and the bacon ,goat cheese,parmesan cheese,and a decent amount of lucky dog hot sauce. thrown on to the tortilla.

they were the best ribs I've ever made by a mile, and damn nearly the best I've ever eaten ...

TL;DR - ribs have been my fav thing since i was a tiny child ...

used to look forward to being taken to The Buccaneer Inn by boat for my birthday all year long ...

... and they had KILLER ribs ...





anyways, i've been eating ribs out anywhere possible for as long as i could chew ...

so many people set their mark as "fall off the bone" goodness ...

these beat that, they were that tender, and yet, stay on the bone awesome ...




i'm going to def take a swipe at beef ribs next, but sous vide is KILLER for ribs, don't be confused ;)
 
so i wanted waffle house and was no condition to drive. my sweet wife made me a homemade version of my favorite dish there.what we have is a steak melt,hashbrowns covered with chili and cheese. this was fantastic and im ready for bed.

Why is it that whenever the wife and I start drinking before cooking a meal, I forget to break out the camera and take photos? This thread is right up our alley too.

BTW, those ribs look awesome. :dance:
