Holy Cow...........those are awe inspiring. No kidding. I love them. What do you do, hollow them out a bit, stuff then broil them or close the foil and sort of bake them?

 Well since no one wants to post pics in this here thread anymore, I will. I made some Pho' yesterday. It is a Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup. This is kind of the semi-homemade version though because I used a Pho' paste I bought at a local Asian store. Pho' is very fragrant with notes of ginger, fish sauce, star anise, lemon grass, lime juice, fennel, cinnamon, and clove in the broth. It is garnished with green onion, and lots of herbs such as basil, parsley, and cilantro. In the soup itself, I add bean sprouts, straw mushrooms, bamboo shoots, Thai chili peppers, and very thinly sliced beef right at the end. I ladled the soup over rice noodles and let sit for a couple minutes until the noodles softened. Normally, in authentic Pho' the noodles and beef are placed in the bowl, and the broth is poured over top to cook the meat, then the herbs and green onion are added to garnish. I just put mine together in the pot. I don't have time to do all that for each bowl! The drink of choice for the afternoon was vodka and tonic with lime.

Very nice JayT. I love pho, but have never tried making it at home.

frenzix - Those look gooood! I could eat about 6 of those right now. And no, chick peas would not be good on them. Haha. A fried egg would be though.

Those lil sandwiches look good! I too could put down about 17 of those.

Its been awhile since i've posted in here. And reason being is I'm really bad at getting a picture worth a damn after I start drankin... This is the best drunk food I ever made. I knew I was going to be making some chili, but dayum I didn't know it'd turn out so good. Oh and be warned. THIS CHILI HAS BEANS... And lots of them.

It all started when I was greeted with a very expensive 12oz bottle of beer...

And it all ended with a very cheap bottle of wine...

3 hours later I was shitfaced and I did whatever I wanted to that chili. Some acts may even be illegal in some states.
chiliplate.JPG

That is corn chips, followed by SQUIGGLE NOODLES... Topped with a massive heap of chili, sour cream and grean onion.

Stuff was gooooood

Now to figure out what to do with 48 pounds of leftovers I have.... I'm sure the inspiration will come to me in my next drunken stooper.
