My tribute to neil

6-8 chicken wings
2 TBS NagaSav BBQ Sauce
1/2 tsp fresh ground Pepper Pepper
140g apple puree
1 ground allspice
Zest 1/2 orange
1 tsp sea salt
2 cloves freshly ground

Mix all ingredients and marinade at least 12 hours.

Cook as you want to. Grilled is great, slow BBQ over fruit wood is better.

Dollop another 3 TBS NagaSav BBQ Sauce and toss until well combined.

Foo foo to your hearts content.

In Austrailia everything is backwards , even when you flush the toilet the water goes backwards ;)

Go's backwards? So when you flush, it just automatically overflows? Or are you talking about the swirly?

Double-Trouble Meat Burrito

I needed some firey dead-flesh redemption after last night's consuming...

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound taco-flavored beef & beef heart "hamburger"
  • 1 link each of Chorizo & generic Hot Pork Sausage, skinned and crumbled.
  • 1/2 a white onion
  • 4 frozen Orange Habs and one fresh one, chopped
  • two big cloves garlic, whack 'n chopped
  • bunch of red pepper powder, arbol powder, onion powder, granulated garlic, hot chile powder, jalapeno powder and cumin
  • about a cup of mixed Afterburner and Buffalo Picante Especial
  • pinch of Mexican Oregano
  • Kosher Salt & Black Pepper

Here she is after a lot of slow cooking after the initial meat was browned.

Hot food needs cold Beer....

It's just right for the day after...hot enough to wake ya up and sweat it out, but not enough to kill ya. :-D

The beef/heart stuff is rich and pretty good for ya, and has nearly zero fat.

Belive it or not, that meat wasn't drained at all. Thus, adding the sausages for a bit of grease and eXXXtra flavor works great

Tastes rather awesome.

Quady...that most righteously gets the HB&R but.....where 'da cast iron at?

Thx man!

Well, honestly...that puny 9" skillet just isn't big enough.
For just making up some meat filling, the non-stick T-Fal pan does a good job for hungover cookin'. ;)

Ah, TY TY, you veddy welcome sir. :D

Yup, works well.

I 'prolly should've added a handful of Thai chiles, mebbe a Dorset or something as well, but I kinda like making the meat filing stuff kinda "generic" as I can always add more Evil Sauce heat to it later.

Look at the goodness!!

Thanks, TB, Looks yummy. Shitake and asparagus-beautiful! Your creations inspire me the most! Having dared to try the pepper mix with scary pepper words in it, and liking it, I am going to dare to try a pepper garden in the spring so I can make some fresh goodness myself.

I have seen peaches growing in my neighborhood, too, and someone 'round here made something with peaches and habeneros and rum....gives me all kinds of ideas! :onfire: I'm thinking my yard could use a decent tree!
