Usually it means they are plum but not actual san marzano. Otherwise, canned tomatoes are not usually plum. "Italian tomatoes," same thing. May be plum from Italy but not sm. Usually a basil leaf. In your case garlic. Haven't seen sugar that's usually in cheap canned maters.

I can't wait for Chinese, and would also like to enter the Cheese one, so I think I'll skip the Cajun TD and use that weekend for some homebrewing, and to give Danielle a break this coming month ...
 
I don't know much about making Cajun food - I only know that I like eating it when I'm out! ;)
