Squid ink isn't nearly as uncommon as some folks would like to imagine ...
 
I saw it in multiple dishes in the semi-finals on MasterChef (on Fox, so it must be legit :rolleyes: ) within the past month ...
 
FWIW, gold flakes were used in two desserts in the finale! ;)
 
 
 
That said, I'll use some regular ole beef for the TD ...
