Well, I finally decided to start a Glog.  I have quite a few plants that ore OW from last year, and some new ones that I started this January.  Here is the list, lots of pics to follow, I'm still in the process of planting out.  Most everything is going into root pouches, and pots, but I do have 9 total rocoto plants in the ground as well.

Watermelon Wine, EC-1118 kicked in fermentation immediately.



Picking more and more chiles every day.

The seeds were supposed to be chocolate brainstrain. Some of the pods have an almost chocolate coloring to them, but most are a very dark, blood red. They are extremely hot, some of the spiciest pods I've ever eaten.

It's fermenting very rapidly, but hasn't lost any of it's aroma. I was planning on leaving the bucket lid loosely covering it with a towel draped over for 6 days before racking it to a carboy with an airlock. The OG is dropping so fast though, I think I'll rack to carboy with an airlock on day 4 instead.

Wow! Great collection of Pubescens! Nice Aji Largo pic. It's loaded with pods. It looks like most of them are. Fantastic! I'm glad to hear the chocolate Brainstrains are way up there on the heat scale. I'm wondering if it's hotter than Judy's Bhutlah. That thing rocked me. Everything looks great!

Thanks man! The aji largo definitely is covered in pods right now, I can't wait for them to finally ripen up. I haven't tasted Judy's Bhutlah, but it seems to be a screamer based on everyone's reports. The chocolate brainstrain is a small bush of a plant compared to my other chinense, but I am pulling pods off of it on the daily. The only other two plants putting off heat like that in my garden are the 7 Pot Primo and Carolina Reaper.

Thanks! I also pick a good 10+ of these coyote zan white a day, but it is so difficult to tell when they are ready! The pods go from light green, to cream, then white, but the color change is very minimal.

Thanks! I'm planning on making some rocoto jelly with some of them. I saw that you made some marmalade that looked really good. Have you ever made pepper jelly? I saw a recipe here on THP for rocoto jelly that I was thinking of trying out.
