such a heat freak (no offense) like you, why are you growing mellow chiles like jalapenos, tabascos & couple more if they're not really hot ? I figured your list would be stacked with really hot chiles.

I am not a heat freak all the time ...
I love fresh jalapenos and chili's on pasta and also to bbq.
tabasco I want to try as they are what tabasco is made of and that was my first sauce .
the rest I hope will almost kill me.

Don't listen to him Shayne, Jalapeño is one of the best peppers out there.
You know, a pepper doesn't have to be seriously hot for you to like it.

Sounds like a great list to me. I just need to get my heat tasted back to where used to be.

I've started with:

Red Dominica
Tobago Seasoning
Antillais Caribbean
Brazilian mini bonnet
Datil
Peppadew
Rocoto orange
Jamaican Red (large)
Safi
Caribbean Red
Scotch Bonnet Big Sun
Tepin
Red Savina
Lemon Hab
Chocolate hab
White Hab
Yellow Hab
Peach Hab

There's quite a few more I want to grow too which I'll start in the New Year. When I start them as seedlings I ignore the fact that I might be limited for space (problem with my dog Murphy eating plants) but I won't get rid of any, where there's a will there's a way ;)

Hey rainbowberry, what is the Brazilian mini bonnet?
Potawie that's a good question because I don't know either. I was given it labelled like that. It had the name 'Bonnet' in it so I thought I'd grow it, just kind of thinking with 'Bonnet' in the description it might be hot.

You have to have a balance. I love habaneros, but paprikas are my go to seasoning.

Red Savina
Orange Hab
Vietnamese mini
Red Pumpkin Paprikas
Traditional Paprikas
Jim's sweet
Jalapeno
Jalapeno
Jalapeno(can't get enough, my smoked red jalapeno powder is worth 10x it's weight in gold)
Alma Paprika

[ SPACE RESERVED until I see what my local greenhouse has in heirloom peppers this year, they always have some cool ones]

All in all I will have 30 plants. Up 3 from last year.

My wife is gonna kill me

Orange Habs
Siams
Piquins
Datil
Yellow Fatelli
Bih Jolokia
Naga Morich
Purple Tiger
Black Manaqulana
Scoth Bonnets
Mystery Thai from Bent

Still Waiting to hear about Devils tongue and 7pot/pod or any others I can score -- I think Bentalphanerd has something for me ?? I'll update this if I remember any others I have

Mine is basically all kinds of bell peppers, naga morich, trinidad peppers, seasoning peppers and some other interesting species.

Hey AJACK, why do you grow in containers if they will be in the back yard anyways? Just curious!

Reason 1: Wife won't let me dig up the back yard for a garden. Back yard is fairly small. Reason 2: I use a lawn service that puts down fertilize and weed killer and I am sure the soil would be poison to the plants. Reason 3: If reason 2 is not valid, see reason 1.:(

By the name of the peppers, I guess you mean 'bentalphanerd' - also known as 'Bent', not 'Brent'.
The guy sent you lots of seeds, at least get the name right.
