Tony's grow log 09/10

Well we will start at the start this year.

I have built a grow box and i cant wait to use it. Im going to get some seed trays tomorrow and will have seeds in by tomorrow night.

I ran the box with lights and fan and got 29 deg air temp in the center of the enclosure.

Now as you can see in the above pic...... the room is well lit. As you can see from the exposure of the pic below.... its bright in there. It mad my garage look dark.

And the fan thats pointing at an angle across the enclosure. Its perfect actually. It spreads air evenly but doesnt make a line of wind that i was worried it might. It just moves the air evenly around and will work a treat.

I have some pods setting which is exciting.

First is my Fatalii from the comparison thing early this year. Its finaly getting some warm air and has some good looking pods forming up.

Where did you get those green pots from?

I need some cheap big pots. Currently using 80cent buckets from bunnings, that are around 2.5gallons i think.

I usually go down to the local tip, they have a recycle shop and there are heaps of large pots for .50c to $1.00 each
 
I got my 7 gallon black nursery pots for $2.50 each from a local nursery in florida.
By the time I paid goverment import duties and shipping cost about $4.50 each.
I was hoping to get them cheaper because the amount of plants i have going it will get fairly expensive.
 
update time.

I have lots of Seven Pods on the plant i over wintered. here is one.

The Douglahs are going great. I have 2 of them and they are 50% bigger than this now. They are growing very fast in the warnth of summer.

This is the Chocolate Hab F1 plant i gor seeds from Scolvelle for. Its leaves are almost varigates and the stalks are a bit hairy. I cant wait to see what it grows. ITs a very differnt looking plant.

Ancho Pablano about a week ago. It has lots of open flowers on it now..... and they are big.

I will be very interested to see how you Douglahs grow compaired to mine tony as they appear to be roughly the same size.

Hey Nova. Were your Douglahs from the seeds Pippy got? I cant remember if he got them from you or not.

He killed all his, i got 3 going and gave him one so he could grow some heat himself.

AJ...... my season started lats as i was working over seas but its on schedule now.

Im looking forward to having chillis on the trees again.

One other thing i have growing is goatsweeds. I riped the goatsweed plant out and the bloody things are springing up everywhere..... im waiting for them to start up out of the lawn. They are unstopable.

Hey tony the Douglah seeds that i gave to ya bro didn't sprout afaik, something about him being stupid, i cant remember. He ended up getting some more from Junglerain I THINK. He definantly got some more from somewhere.

As to the Goats Weed i gorilla gardened some of those plus others into my ex's garden. All but the Goats Weed are as dead as a door nail!

I did have 5 Duggied going but as i promised 1 to a mate i now have four. One of them is going sterling!

Jungle..... mate..... the seeds have produced some spectacular plants and i plan to make you proud! Do you have pics of what they produce?
 
Oh.... the choc Hab............. Mate.... i have no idea. Scollvile had pics of them up and they were long and squigly like a witchety grub. I think this may be a F2........ We will see. i cant wait to see what grows..... its like a mystery plant.
 
Yeah well i got mine from the worlds laziest gardener that lives in Rocklea. Mine "had" to be the hardiest and pip still failed. :rofl: Should i adjust the meter? :hell: (soz pip ya burfdees ova m8)
