food Top This Sandwich! A sandwich posting game

Bastige!

I reckon that comment is payback for my comment in JHP's thread.

Then again, we've never seen a THP grilled cheese.

Oh wait.

Like unicorns and yeti's it doesn't exist!

Bah! X 2

Just now unwrapping this thing and eating it.  I was going to wait for her to get home and eat together, but I can't wait.

WTF is all that green sheeit on there?

And all this time I thought you were a man's man.

I feel like I'm turning gay just looking at all that lettuce in that pic.

Not that being gay is a bad 'thang.

But that lettuce!

C'mon maaan!

Much obliged Siccy.

That pic was worth a 2 'fer.

No tomato soup needed either IMO.

I'd like to be liking that with some whole pickled 'peno's.

Bite of grilled scheeze with a chaser of a bite of 'peno.

Jesus food.

I was going to say pickles but yeah even better.

The acid is needed to cut the cheese for me. Hahahaha cut the cheese!

But thin sliced sweet pickle chips are great in grilled cheese.
Salt and vinegar potato chips too.

And lettuce.

That one ... I just go with ...

I figure those threads are just honey-pot's for meme pictures, so the real threads stay more legit ...

You give me too much credit! They are not a diversion, just pure fun... Fun Zone, duh, ;) Drink!

Thats the fact jack on the pickles.

Heavy dairy needs something like acid to balance the ying yang.

Bein' a NY'r I know you know your pickles.

For me, as I grew up eating them, pickled 'peno's I do without thinkin'.

Sadly I've never experienced NY style barrel pickles.

I reckon that would merit a thread of its own.

Garlic dills and bread & butter are my favorites!

Cool link THP.

I now find it odd I've never made my own pickles as much as I love them.

Then again I don't have the room to grow pickle cuck's or the wherewithall to do them.

Same for jalapeno's.

To sleep perchance to dream.

I bought 3x jars at the store earlier.

They fade and return my saliva to a nice neutral state, especially on day's like today.

I use them the way the Japanese use pickled ginger ...

I make pickles quite a bit once the cukes are in season at the farmer's market.  I made gallons of them last summer.

And not a single post about it?

You truly are a bastige!

YOU need to start a pickle thread senor.

Your fans demand it.

Pretty sure I posted them in my Flog last summer, also pretty sure there are a couple of pickle threads already.

Negative.

I mean a hard core hot/spicy pickle thread like the STEAK or TACO threads.

I reckon an all 'thangs hot pickled thread from picklese to pickled cauliflower to NY style and ever 'thang

in between.

Hot pickled asparagus.

Escabeche.

Anyone do their own pickled Italian or Greek pepperoncinni?

Giardeniniera?

I reckon I'm talkin' a thread devoted to nothing but pickled stuff.

I grew pepperchini last year with the hopes of pickling them and I think I only scored like 5 peppers total off the plant. Of all the commercial types of pickles I still think my favorite are just plain old hamburger dill slices. I drink the juice straight up. Pisses everyone else in the house off as there's a jar half full of pickles and no juice left.
