Vids & Votes: The Subway Foot-long Face-off Challenge

I posted on the other thread, but our power just came back on a half hour ago. I am finishing the upload now. At least the 2nd time I tried to upload, I was using google chrome and it auto saved it from where it left off. Have about 8% left to upload.

It is almost finished processing. Will be posting soon--I may go and get some sleep beforehand since my kids will probably be waking up in about 1 1/2 hours, plus I have to drive my stepdaughter to school(if the schools are even open).

Hey no fair!! You can't use your daughter to try to sway the votes! Just joking :) She is absolutely adorable. And I'm glad the vote looks to be in favor of you being allowed to be in the competition. You certainly deserve to be in it. Great job!

Thanks! I definitely had fun, but can see ways to improve the next time as well. I didn't ask my daughter to come over--I did have her shows on the tv, but she got bored. :)

I know how that goes. I've had to resort to doing video reviews and this challenge after my family goes to bed or when they aren't in the house. My oldest daughter will absolutely take over the video if I do it when she's around. It's nice at times, but can certainly be distracting, especially when I'm trying to do a serious review.

Ok, so a couple of things:
1. Please refer back to the 1st post in this thread for the voting rules. Y'all have to work a little to vote in this thing. 6 contestants, 6 points, 2 categories. you need to list the candidates in order. At 5:00 PM on Saturday the votes will be tabulated.

2. I was asked privately if "touching the paper" was within the rules. I re-read the rules & imagine that - there is no rule against touching the paper. That's a good example of innovation, folks!

If you all had any idea how gross it was that hubby kept swollowing his puke............. I thought I was going to lose it a few times actually.

Nice job everyone, it was a hard task between the size of the sandwich to the constent bending to eat it. Not fun, I could imagine.

Well it's my username at a lot of forums I frequent. I plan on sharing the vid just about everywhere, so the "various online forums" bit covers me, lol.

I may be in the minority, but I would actually eat subway again soon--just not a sliced turkey sandwich though since its not one of my go to subs. Now I'll rock a Italian BMT, meatball or roasted chicken just about anytime. And not with that much extra heat, LOL
 
This was A LOT to watch. I've got my list tabulating right now. Several algorithms to run.

BIG props to everyone who competed... and the sponsors for making it enticing enough to grow legs.

I, however, know that I cannot finish an entire footlong in one sitting. I was out before this even started.

Do we have a verdict as to whether or not DG77 is included? I understand her entry was late.
