One of my favourites for a pure voice is Karen Carpenter I grew up with some of their songs, I have most of their albums.
 
That's where I listen to all of the songs on this thread that I don't know and you have the bonus of videos. Otherwise to hear it sometimes the only option is to download it and I don't want to download an unknown song in case it's a pile of poo.
 
Uh, damn this thread. I check it and then someone posts and it lights up The Lounge, and then I have to check it again and again and again...EVIIIILL I SAY!

I thought that was just me that did that. I'm sooo pleased that you can be the first to admit doing that stupid thing of not looking at the sub-forums and clicking backwards and forwards because I wouldn't have done. :lol:

Yep, I fully admit it!
 
I just open everything in separate tabs all at once, read and answer, then go back and reload the main page to start over. I have ten or fifteen tabs open at a time.

to all, yea yea this is a wide variety of music. some of it I got from an old girlfriend (the music just grew on me, then started to like other songs like them. but I will listen to all of this & more thats not even listed here because I figured you might not like them or already know about them, or I might of listed some that you already know about.
