food What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

Oh Yeah JT - That creation is right up my alley!!!!! Looks sooooo tasty!

I'm cooking up some cranberries today (to make syrup for a champagne cocktail!), so I'll have some on hand to play with.
The bhut with cran relish has me intrigued!!!!! :D
 
Cooked turkey is dry enough, the cranberry relish soaked right in. It is really good. Let me know how you like it.
 
So whole wheat tillas with jack cheese, jalapenos, and a bhut. Sounds awful hippy to me.

We recently made a Thai-ish chicken curry fried rice dish.

Onions, jalapenos, garlic and hot curry powder:

Six cups of cold cooked rice with some brown sugar dissolved
in fish sauce and soy sauce:

Add cubed chicken cooked with hot curry powder, fresh cilantro
eggs and scallions:

Holy crap it was good topped with some Thai hot chili sauce!

I suppose ,technically, the inclusion of Hot Madras Curry Powder is more
Indian than Thai but the brown sugar / fish sauce made me think Thai. I
knew of no better way to introduce the 'sweet' ingredient. I hope to attempt
this dish again and incorporate some red or green curry paste. Thank
you for your kind words.

We made this dish again tonight and now I completely understand why
you should use day-old cold rice. We allowed the cooked rice to cool for
a couple hours but it was not long enough to keep it from becoming a
mushy mess. A tasty mushy mess, but mushy nonetheless.

Asian Ecstasy sounds like one I'll have to replicate.
