food What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

Damn havn't had a sloppy joe in years. Might havta do that this weekend.

Went to Olive garden this eve and got my grub on. Told the waitress that I'm a chilihead and asked if she could hook me up with the hottest thing they had in the kitchen to add to my meal. I asked if they had any fresh peppers or hot sauce. She brought out a little ramakin with what looked like small red thai peppers in an oil. Maybe olive oil, not really sure. They ROCKED! Great taste and nice heat. I ate them one right after the other for a great mouth burn to accompany my soup and salad. AWESOME!!!

This is what we're eating tonight. It's been rubbed with a pretty spicy rub and it's been on the grill since yesterday evening.

Dang, RM, you did it up right!

But..
I call B.S.!
Well, maybe not all salad but healthier than Cheese Grilled Scheeze Grilled Cheese and CFS's. So, some salad and some meat with green stuff but also WAY less carbs.

LOL - thanks! We pretty much did just that - it started out as a 4-pound roast, and we scarfed half of it between two of us. Nomnomnomnom!

Chicken fried chicken and steak fingers (think chicken fried steak, but cut into thin strips)  with mashed potatoes and canned black eyed peas.  The chicken gets the Defcon sauce, because it's chicken and that's what it's for (I make cream gravy for the wife, she don't do Defcon heat).  My mashed potatoes get LDHS pink label, because it too is better than my cream gravy.  The steak fingers get the mixture of A1, LDHS black label and Pickapepper sauce.

I like to be liking how you did it but....

You get points off for calling it chicken fried chicken.

Its just fried chicken.

That damn JayT started that crap.

Damn you Jay and your stinkin' CFC!

That's the thing, every homestyle restaurant around here calls thin fried chicken breast  pieces chicken fried chicken.  If you order fried chicken, you get bone-in crispy fired chicken.  I know it's fried chicken, but it's soooo different.  The breading is different, just like chicken fried steak.  I guess chicken fried steak isn't really steak fried like chicken.  It's just fried steak, which is also different here.  Fried steak doesn't have any breading, it's just pan fried in fat or oil.

I figure the steak fingers would receive the bigger "WTF??? "  If someone hasn't been to a Dairy Queen, they may have never heard of steak fingers.

Yep, negatory on JayT starting CFC, TB. For some godless reason CFC started years and years ago as TC said. Any thin boneless fried chicken breast you find at a restaurant in the south has been called CFC for at least 30 years, maybe longer. Started after CFS became a big 'thang, like places were trying to compete or something.

I tend to think like you do, though - if it's chicken and it's fried, it's fried chicken. Coating type, bone-in, boneless, etc. doesn't matter. You want gravy on it, go for it.

No pics.

Never happened.

Ever body has a camera phone now.

We like pics.

Oh yeah, guess I didn't include a pic. My bad. I will next time. We are eating cheap take-out and hospital food until they release her. She wants spicy pecan breaded chicken with blackberry wine sauce when we get back. I load the choco-hab-a-peno powder in it. I am getting mighty low too. Gunna need to hit up sicman soon.

And my parents don't have camera phones. Or any cell phones. Drives me nuts! How can people live these days without their electronic leash?!?! ;)
