food What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

Whoa dad!

Fitty you roll like I do.

Always a shit-ton(official SoFlo measurement) of pickled 'peno's and lime wedges on the side.

And that dip....

No words need be said.

I know its jammin'.

Save me some.

Looks like a great day! Well done!

Yesterday i was with some friends for a dinner... Incidentally there was the England - Italy match (not that i care much about that). I made some good gulash and it was really fiery. Probably today someone is cursing me.

A quick couple of antipasti:

That olives were amazing! Hot pepper and garlic flavour. I could eat that all day long.

Some beer... There were some wine too.

Some pasta fredda, there was feta cheese that was good.

This was maybe the best thing of the evening... Homemade popsicles!
They have been done with actual fruit, not extract or chemist stuff, water and sugar
3 flavours:
strawberries + peach + raspberries
melon
homemade cherry jam
These are a lot more nutrient than normal popsicles. I ate 7 of that.

Wow, essi - what a meal! How'd you get the popsicles out of the glasses? Let them sit out just a tad?
Eh eh you spotted a problem!
Usually heathen them by hand, turn, continue for some time...

My ignorance (lol sorry boss for OT): but glasses (intended the tool we use to drink) made of plastic are still called glasses?

JHP recently sent me some powder. @JoynersHotPeppers that powder is legit. Used some in a pot of red beans and rice the other night, but this was even better. Balsamic/dijon pork loin hit with some JHP's superhot mix, along with garlic/red pepper broccoli and jalapeno cheese grits.

Missed this but thanks and glad you are enjoying the powders. I seriously only do this for my own personal love of peppers and am always most happy to share the love. This loin looks awesome and juicy!

I call them that, too. But THP gets finicky sometimes. Like people call ground beef either ground beef, mince, or……. hamburger. I call it hamburger, anyway. So does most everyone I know. And yeah, we know "a hamburger" is different from "hamburger" - first is a sandwich, second is just meat.

I don't know who meant what I just meant they looked plastic to me, which meant they were easy to remove since popsicle molds are also plastic. Thought gemme thought they were glass and hard to remove without breaking.

Nah, I was thinking something along the lines of "don't stick your tongue on a lightpole when it's frozen outside." Some things appear to be easier to do than they actually are, and I could see where that may well have been the case with those glasses.

Not so easy, if you pull at start you remove the spoon. You must heathen them for a while.
That's an issue for me that i want them asap. :D

Btw my friend was wondering (not seriously but...) to make popsicles with hot peppers! :D
Something fruity with orange and lemon would be awesome.

There is an ice cream shop in Columbus, OH that sells sorbet made with hot peppers - it's quite good! I believe the kind I got last time I was there was pear sorbet with bits of cayenne in it. So yes - go for it!

I don't know that'd I'd like a chunk of pepper but I would like subtle heat, that's why cinnamon ice cream is good. Sounds like a job for pepper powders.

The bits are very, very small - very finely chopped. I agree that large pieces could be a distraction, but these are not, at least, not to me. Still, powders would also work well, IMO.

Gyros.  Very spicy - courtesy of romy6 (Mr. J. Hill) - I didn't have a tomato:

Not exactly sure what type of pepper it was . . .  but I can tell you that it was really hot!

I love gyros.

To me its a Greek taco.

And ever body knows how I feel about tacos.

And you got the cheapass pressed lamb loaf.

Nice.

I ain't ashamed to say that I love that sheeit.
