What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

And how did it turn out?

I was in the mood for wings, but wasn't going to do anything fancy, just wanted something quick using what was in the house. Baked the wings in the oven with a dry rub of cayenne, Death Rain, pepper, and bih jolokia powder (from Muso2112). Took them out and coated with Cap'n's savina sauce. Pretty good for a quick meal.

Chicken thighs.
 

Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." 

She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else laughed. My parents told me to always tell the truth. I did. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. 

Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again. 

The next day in class, my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, so I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal's office. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. 

I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked me to tell her what famous person I admired most. 

I told her, "Colonel Sanders."

Mussels steamed with kielbasa, aji limo, brussels sprouts, and white wine. Pasta with alfredo on the side.

Spinach fettuccine with Bolognese style sauce, Polish sausage, fresh Basil and Parsley from the garden, my own brined 2yo black olives, two Fruxim peppers, and topped with grated black pepper Pepatto cheese.

Red onion, mushrooms and sweet peppers from the garden on the Plancha. 

 
Plated up with a Fruxim topped side salad, and sauced with my Scarlet Pain.

Lamb Shanks.
 
Halved, seasoned and seared. 

 
Red & Brown onions and some garlic.

 
Crushed tomatoes, Bay leaves, smoked paprika, and 1 litre chicken stock

 
Simmered for three hours on low, then added potatoes and carrots for the last 30-40 minutes. 

 
From the garden - Parsley, Basil, Jimmy Nardello and one BBG7 x (PDN x Bhut) for heat.

 
Plated up on a bed of white rice.

 
So tender.
