What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

And how did it turn out?

I was in the mood for wings, but wasn't going to do anything fancy, just wanted something quick using what was in the house. Baked the wings in the oven with a dry rub of cayenne, Death Rain, pepper, and bih jolokia powder (from Muso2112). Took them out and coated with Cap'n's savina sauce. Pretty good for a quick meal.

I Looooove fried sauerkraut on beer brats. A friend of mine turned me on to it. It's a stick of butter, then half a sweet onion, peppers of your choice (I had to go with serranos or the missus wouldn't eat it) then a large can or bag of sauerkraut (drained). I just keep stirring it around on medium low until it absorbs all the butter and begins to brown a little. Yum!

Ok, thanks to JayT for the inspration for tonight's supper/snack!

Here's what I did:

Took some yummy AL FRESCO SUNDRIED TOMATO & BASIL FULLY COOKED CHICKEN SAUSAGE and cooked 'er up in the iron with Kraut, Onions, Wickles Pepper Relish, a dash of cayenne and sea salt & pepper. Browned it for a bit, then finished off by simmering in Beer. :)

THX!

I went simple on the snasage cuz it's got a hella lot of delicate flavors, really good stuff.

Agreed, the bacon-cheeze fries are just Boss.

*glugs*

The "it's too damn hot to cook" snack...

Sliced a giant cheese bagel in half, then applied cream cheese mixed with chipotle powder, garlic powder, cayenne powder, and onion powder.

Topped that with chopped up jalapenos and some nice Gallo pepperoni, sprinkled with romano and aged white cheddar. Then set in toaster oven to broil a bit.

Yummy!

That cheese looks artisticly placed. You have upped the foo since the crown ;)

Looks tasty.

Well, I wend with a different type of Jamaican Jerk Pork. It's not the typical dry rub, but rather a marinade. I basted it a few times throughout the cooking process. We used 11 orange habs in total. You could taste a little bit of heat and a little bit of hab flavor. Probably could've used a bit more garlic, but that's just me.

And to finish off the last little bit of jerk pork, we went with fried yellow and orange bell peppers and fried purple onion. We toasted the bread after it was drenched in garlic butter then put some cheese on it. The final result was:

I am totally diggin' the amount of righteous (to borrow from TB) food porn going on here lately. We have throwdowns and just everyday showoffs of epic proportion!
