Thanks very much more the info.
So I assume seeds only were sent through?
Just that I know that customs here are bloody awful and would have been amazed if pods made it through. I’m sure I am on their (not)favourites list!
I’ll drop him a line and see if he has any spare seed.

Yeah, just seeds from cappy.
The apparent reason for them confiscating my Superchile seeds is because it said just 'Superchile' on the packet not 'Capsicum annum var Superchile'.... What a load of s*%$!
Also, they say that they can send them back to the sender... FOR $42.50! LOL, douchbags!

Ahh customs you gotta love em!!!!
A few years back had some Butch.T Scorps taken from me that took several times to come through because the Common and Botanical name was only put on the declaration with the common name on the seed packet. Was informed that they confiscated them because the Botanical name was not on the seed packet :banghead:

Welcome to the fun of Aussie customs!!!

Pablo= was Reading back about your damping off problems water with hp in your spray bottle. in post 1780 your were asking about Mycorrhizal make your own much better than store bought

Cook up some white rice put into a Wide shallow pan about 1" deep .Put a wire barrier over to keep rodents out and cheese cloth or any porous cloth on top of that to keep dirt and bugs off, then go find a healthy system using your eyes and nose to feel out a microbe hot-spot. In this area you may seek out a particularly old, healthy oak or alder tree to collect mr fungi.
Collect leaf litter and soil from a foot beneath the ground, a bucket full (Bamboo is the best fungi) if you can find it .put it on top of your of your pan of rice over the wire and cloth. Keep it on the ground and in the shade, keep it moist not wet. let it set for 7 days peek at the rice you should find a colorful array of fungi growing on your rice. Remove the soil and leaf liter and discard. put the rice into a clean 5 gal bucket, see how much you have in the bucket mix 1 part of Raw sugar ( I use molasses) to 3 parts rice fill with water. I like to let it set for 8-10 days the warmer the better, all water you use should be non-chlorinated water strain your mix mix with water give to plants you can water or spray the leaves. Mix two tablespoons to the gal of water. HAPPY Growing Alex

Any Questions Please ask

Sweet thanks for the info! Couple of questions.

You said to collect the soil and leaf litter from a foot below the ground, does the littet have to be that deep or do you mean dig?

How long does the mix last for?

dig below the top litter , the leaves mixed with the soil go down pretty far. i have some thats a year old put some molasses or raw sugar in the liquid every month a little will do it will keep the bacteria alive, as long it smells good its ok. if it smell bad dump it and start over. I have a bunch of Papaya trees were I collect the fungi I dig down about 3" lay the pan down and cover with the soil works great every time
once you make some you'll find all kinds of ways of growing you soil.

Good info :)
I use a molasses, garlic & pepper spray on my cabbages... You will know if that stuff goes bad! Peeewww. Molasses really stinks when its off.

F%$king lame westerly gusty wind. Snapped one leaf off my pimenta de neyde which isn't very big and very slow growing as it is for some reason. And seems to have pushed my Aji lemons around quite badly with possibly some major stem damage at the base :( .
I hope there isn't too much lasting damage. Tomorrow time to get some stakes and to repot my yellow seven pot/pod

Nova if can get some bamboo shoots and or roots ferment them makes great nutes for your plants, you can also ferment papaya, sea weed, pineapple, and all kinds different stuff to make to make nutes . The fermenting pulls all kinds vitamins and growth hormones from what your fermenting.

I put the sea weed in a blender make it mush pour into a 5 gal bucket, about 1/3 full put the same amount of molasses or raw sugar, top off with water, cover with cloth so it can breath let set for 7 days you can stir it every other day to keep the bacteria happy. open it up and smell should have a sweet alcohol smell, if it smells bad dump and try again. Have never had a batch go bad its pretty easy most fermention recipes work with 1/3 water, 1/3 product, 1/3 sugar. mix 2-4 tablespoons to the Gal of water. works great. you can spread the mush left in your plants makes soil fluffy.
