I got mine in 2013 form a member here who got them dirrectly from the Jamacian MOA. I was not overly impressed with the flavour either. They were howerver really BIG. It is a really good all around pepper to cook with.

those pics look great. Habs aren'y as hot as some peppers, but they have a small creeping burn that adds ups really fast that can really screw you up if your not carefull.

I've been away from the pepper game for a bit, in my opinon the 7 pod rennie was the hottest/most painful chile I grew.

   If I remember right, the carolina reaper said to be a cross of sweet habanero x a naga. Those pics are very hab-ish.

I don't know how to account for the taste, but the coloration is a matter of science. Another explanation could be those two pods got more sunshine than the rest of the plant.

Def a Cherry pepper. They are awsesome stuffed and/or roasted.

Brown pods are after all a whole lot of the red gene. So I can see that.

People have been using bridal cloth to isolate plants for a long timeamd it works very well.

D3monic's plants look perfectly normal and healthy.

Are your leaves wilting at all? Pepper plants can wilt becasue of too little as well as too much water.

It looks like mites or even aphids. The little insects like the newest growth. Left curl is hard to diagnose.

With plants grown in soil I know plenty of people who gently work/break the roots apart when they are transplanted and they come out fine. That said, I think that method only would work early on  in the plants life cycle.
