    TNR-my fave is Glenlivet as well, along with Glenfiddich. The Glenlivet 12yo is the oldest I've tried of their's, and love it. Tried the Glenfiddich 15yo once, but much prefer the 12. Very rare occasion I indulge in any of them though.

    I used to play once a week with a friend back home til he moved to England, I went a few times by myself after but got bored pretty quickly playing alone.

    Same here. My golf buddy went to jail for too many DWIs. I got tired of playing alone. I have new irons and woods. I've never shot under 100. Maybe we could meet halfway and play some time

    Got my first ripe (non ornamental) pepper of the year! Now to work out if it's a fatalii or yellow bhut.

    Definitely need to start building my tolerance up again. The yellow 7 pot I chopped up and stuffed along with some cheese in a chicken breast burnt me bad last night, and tore me up good today.

    500 aphidius colemani received today. I'm determined to get these aphids under control. Hoping between these, the few ladybugs that stuck around and the assassin bugs that I found in the garden yesterday that I'll finally get the little barstards under control.

    Weekend off is looking to be a busy one. Better half's bday Friday, fishing Saturday, and need to make some more potting mix and pot up quite a few plants.

    Have to give a shout out to customer service at greenhousemegastore.com. Ordered a 10 pack of 7 gallon root pouches and a 30 gallon pouch. Received 1 30 gallon and 1 7 gallon. A quick email later explaining what happened, and they not only shipped what I was missing, I got an extra bag as well. Kickass customer service like that ensures future business for me.

    Thinking of adding bat guano, seabird guano and Jobe's organic tomato ferts to my own potting mix. Does anyone know what ratios I should add these at?

    Remember those "iffy" choco pods I sent? Well, I made some smoked powder out of a bunch of them, and I've actually been putting it on everything! Bad pod, good powder!

    I used them the same way. Threw them in with a heap of other choco pods and smoked with pecan. I was surprised how well it came out. I've got 2 plants growing from seeds from those pods so it'll be interesting to see what they put out this year.

    How long does it usually take neem oil to work on aphids? Sprayed my plants last night and can't find any now. Seems a bit too good to be true.

    Yep, it works good! But it's not permanent. Check once or week or so to see if they show up again. Re-spray as needed. Just stay away from Pyrethrin.... damned near killed my plants last year!

    Good to know. Trying to keep them away while not harming any beneficials that may stop by. Had ladybugs, lacewings and assassin bugs around last year so hoping to get more of the same. Just don't want the aphids to gain control first
