Productive day planned for today. Make some jerky, continue house hunting and transplant some sprouts.

I really need to quit smoking and lose some weight.

Wanted to try some Pure Evil in a glass of whiskey and coke. Meant to only put 2 drops. Slipped and put 5 or 6. Yep, I'm burning good! Good news though, seemed to have dulled the flu symptoms I had for now at least.
Really need to stop making my grow more complicated than it needs to be. Already have 3 different potting mixes, 5 different fertilizers, trying my 4th different seed starter this weekend, and keep researching different things on top of that. Need to settle down and make things simple!
Quick question for the experts. I'm currently trying to germinate some seeds using the coffee filter method After they germ, would I be better off sowing them in seed starter mix or straight into regular potting mix?
Just want to give a huge thank you to everyone on here. I've learned a hell of a lot so far, and no doubt still have a lot to learn. Had a nice productive day off. Got a bunch of flowers planted for my wife, followed up by making a couple batches of jelly.
I've got 2 SBJ7 and 1 MoA Scotch bonnet sprouted! Woohoo! Now I just need to make sure I keep them alive.
My wife rocks! Surprised me for Christmas by ordering me a bottle of Bundaberg rum (had to get it shipped from the UK), and even bought me some Bundaberg ginger beer and Vegemite! I see an Aussie Christmas happening in Louisiana this year (unless the rum comes in after, then an Aussie new years)
Got 6 plants re-potted into better mix today. Hope they like it better than the old stuff. Also have an SBJ7 hook showing! Can't wait to grow that one out!
Finally got my Fox Farm Happy Frog in. Day off tomorrow with decent weather predicted so get to spend some of the day outside giving some of my plants better soil.
Making some cranberry-habanero jelly. 1st batch is in the boiling water bath. Getting ready for batch number 2.
Just tried the Incinerator sauce I got from salsalady's deal on Texas Creek goodies. Holy sheeeiiit! Not doing that again! Splooged some n fries like it was ketchup not knowing any better. Tomorrow is going to suck! Tasted good for the .5 seconds I could taste it though!
Might be dark out but the grilling must continue! Got my Texas Creek box yesterday, so tonights it's pork chops seasoned with jalapeno seasoning salt then finished with their chipotle bbq sauce.
Had intended to make my own soil, but due to work and weather ended up just ordering a bag of Fox Farm Happy Frog as I've read a lot of good reports on it. 1st time using this mix. Should I add more perlite or is it good to go as is?
