Yeah, some of the Yellows will suprise you. Cardi is a nice pepper and plant. I had a BS Yellow cross last year, that I am growing this year, that was brutal. It seemed to have good flavor though. I have a few BS Yellow and Infinity crosses this year. See how that pans out. Sometimes this time...

I gave some Douglahs to a owner of a Mexican restaurant near me that has the hottest sauce around. I went back and asked him how were the peppers? He said he thought he was having a heart attack. The first time having a "super" can shock you for sure.

They have got to be one of the most bullet proof peppers to grow. They seem to tolerate so much and still look great. In my zone the bugs even stay away from them. Nice Stupid Jerk.You be not so stupid. lol

Nice. I have had some Infinitys that were just brutal. One pod or two pods in particular that was about as hot as any Moruga or Brain Strain that I have had. The MB and BS still topped the list though. Good luck.

They are about as hot, give or take as a Serrano.

See if you can put  some shade cloth over it.

Inspiring, plant edible plants as much as you can! When I help friends with landscaping questions, I always say "can you eat it?" Thanks for sharing.

I used Rapid Rooters and Root Riot plugs this year and had 95% plus germination, along with fast times. The only draw back I see with those is that you need to move them into soil when they are very small. The nutes in the plugs is a bit weak, even for a seedling.  

That is the temps I am at for about 2 months or so when I am hardening them off. A little warmer and not to much cooler is fine. Most sweets are Annuums and grow and produce earlier then say a superhot. At least in my case they do well at those temps. Also most are smaller plants than some of...
