  • It was mush floating in the pan, the same as if you'd have cooked potatoes for an hour, my Mum and Dad do lovely roast potatoes. Con had a table tennis tournament today and had to play 13 year olds and up, 100 kids were involved and he came second out of the lot. That's my boy!
I only bought 3 and I wasn't going to put the oven on for just 3 parsnips. I seem to buy a different vegetable every week. I've only had them roasted too but I boiled them today, the bag said you could. They don't take as long to cook as you'd think, they almost ended up the same as when I tried to cook broccoli for the first time and went by instructions on the internet, 25 minutes is too long to boil broccoli florets.
Auburn's good 'cos it's not ginger or brunette, just in between. I thought men hated that colour and always went for blondes. I wouldn't go for a blonde man though, always dark haired. You know I'm not on here too much so please keep me updated with the QS situation.

Dinner time now, speak to you in the morning hun.
But why? I don't get it. I'm auburn BTW. QS was the nicest person ever to me. So random, funny and caring.
Hey you're just like me, I knew we had loads in common... being invited to places, and as for the gossip, well I'm head office for that, receiving not telling though.
I haven't noticed that conversation, why do ya ask?
I bet those ladies loved you really.
"I'm definitely well liked here, thats for certain." * Biigggg head! * Honestly I don't doubt that at all.
I'd love you there at my work like I said before, I had a pen fight with a mate earlier, not in the way of flicking ink but drawing on each other, he went for my hand, I went for the face knowing the boss was in (with a strop on at the time) and my mate's a door host for the restaurant so that's how he has to face people. I'd be awful working with you. I bet your workmates love you.
LOl, even being with my workmate today and licking the guests arses I was saying to her 'Well he didn't hand over a fiver'. Sometimes I love work just because of the people I work with. I left a xmas card at work the other day by mistake and they all wanted to steam it open on the kettle to see who it was from thinking it was the guest that always bought me chocolate so he could entice me to go out to dinner and it was my favourite person from over in the restaurant (Sharon) with a card 'To My Special Friend'. I swap shifts to work with her.
So you've got fog there? I think we might have tonight too. I had a lovely day, I got to work last night and the local taxi firm had bought every receptionist a tin of chocolates and a bottle of wine, then a guest on the phone asked for my name, I was reluctant to give it but he said he wanted it to ring my manager to tell him how helpful I'd been *woo hoo, go ahead*. Then this morning a guest gave me a five pound note to buy a drink as he said I was fantastic, I tried to give it back but he wouldn't have it. I'm so far up my own arse now.
Hello stranger! How I would love to work with you, I have such a laugh with all my workmates and I'd die of laughing if you were there. So how are you?
I'm afraid it is... I'm back here on Thursday. I hope all the annoying customers leave you alone. x
He asked for my name at the end of our "un-understandable" conversation and still got it wrong even though I spelt it out. He got K-A-T in the end and I said that's good enough. I was dying to ask if his was Deepak spelling included but I didn't. They are lovely people just doing their job but normally when a company needs to ring their systems department it's because it's a crisis and having a quiet phone line and someone you can't understand doesn't help.
The same thing as you get when you 'try' to be a hotel receptionist on duty by yourself, the phone never stops, you put it down and pick it up again. Last Monday I couldn't use the printer so guests couldn't have a receipt, same thing happened on Saturday, last night my hotel was over-booked, the system down and the printer not communicating with the computer when it all started up again. But having your 'systems' help being 'calling India' really topped it off. The man at systems told me I had a communication problem and I was like "Yeah, tell me about it, I'm English, you're Indian, don't get you" Well that was the bulk of the problem.
You never fail to make me laugh! I did have a lovely day with my Mum, I know I see her all the time but there's something about a mother and daughter going out shopping. What went wrong at 11:45?
Mum's taken Con to his sports club, he didn't want to go but he's been dragged to it, only last week he wasn't happy because he couldn't go. I just hope I can please some people, work was OK last night, my system was down on the busiest night of the week but it was less stressful than being here today. Remind me never to look forward to anything * i.e today * Why's it so fucked up over there?
