  • They kill your throat, I remember them as a young teen when my brother was buying them in Germany on holiday as they still had those cigarette machines outside the shop over there then, we were in the Black Forest so plenty of trees to hide behind from my parents.
I think it's the Irish blood in me, well I'm blaming that anyway, the stupid bowl almost fell on my head because of someones carelessness......... don't laugh, and it was one of those heavy clay bowls that you buy from places like Morocco, you know where you're plagued by young men wanting to buy you with camels?
Sorry that I've been gone a while, the computer completely froze on me and even ctrl, alt, delete wouldn't work, then I had a tantrum over a falling bowl of apples.
It also had the Eiffel tower and the leaning Tower of Pisa. It wasn't just the buildings but the detail it had, like the tea shop with cakes, bread, tables and chairs, a balcony with a parasol, when you pressed on the welcome mat a dog barked and when you opened the door a bell rang. Also the till made a 'ding' when you pressed it.
Connor's got boxes and boxes of matchbox and Hotwheels cars, he was also made about them and still is. I liked building towns more, when he was two we had this set called Happy Street and you could build a whole town and we couldn't fit it in the front room, we had a railway station, Intercity trains, a steam train, a fire station, garage, bakers, tea shop, hospital, farm, so much I can't remember it all and he was too young for it but loved it, shit we even had 5 buildings from around the world that looked a bit strange in the town, like Tower Bridge and the Statue of Liberty.
Did you like lego and cars too? I used to make whole lego towns on those lego road things, they were square and flat with a road running through and you could build your lego building to fix on either side of the road. I used to make massive car parks with my brothers cars and quite happily just park them in and out all day, I should be good at parking really.
I remember those cartoons, the boys used to have the toy robots when I was younger, I loved playing with them.
I've tried Beelzebub's which is a real winner, I love it, and The Beast with 13 Naga pods in, that's very sweet and not too hot but nice. Speak to you later if I can.
I'll try and log on later at work. Just trying out chilli sauces at the moment, I'm having a fantastic time! Have a good day.
I try not to go on, don't invite me too, LOL. Dinner now for me sweetheart. I'm working tomorrow but I'm off on Thursday. Thanks for the lend of your ear tonight.
She's the best worker there, for me anyhow and I'll defend her until the end, I just worry that what I said made things worse, I think the letter to the manager did it though. I was asked if she went would I do 5 days a week (often do) all the time which I would but take on sales too which I don't wanna do, it won't come to that. You been busy today? Sorry for going on.
Not the point though, they were ready to have her burnt at the stake, especially as she left a note to one of the managers complaining about doing too many PM shifts to cover when I'm on holiday, basically saying that she might not have kids but she has a social life and the manager took it as borderline being rude. Also this manager asked if this girl had said anything to me and all I said is that she doesn't seem happy at times here and that she sometimes comes in and says she doesn't want to be here. The manager took offence to that but all I was trying to say is that she might be unhappy and we have to find out why.
Yeah she did when I came in, the computer was working but showing we were over-booked so I told her to phone systems, so she did, this should have been done when she first noticed it though. Because Monday's are so busy I just wanted it sorted, if I'd have spent 10 mins looking at the problem I'd have found it, and it was easy to fix so I blame myself too but it was before my shift even started and I just wanted to get it sorted. Systems put something on the computer that should have helped but didn't as you know, what they did cocked it all up but they only did the standard thing you'd do when you're over-booked. My manager was angry because my colleague knew about the problem an hour before I came in and also some of her sheets hadn't been updated since Sunday, meaning her guest list might have been very out of date and that's a health and safety hazard, i.e if we had a fire I wouldn't know who's in house or not.
Hi ya, well the nightmare ended around 10am this morning. Unfortunately my manager is very unhappy with my colleague who should have done something to try and sort out the problem before I got to work yesterday, I don't blame her though, well I did a teeny-weeny bit last night (at times a lot). I'd hate for her to get in trouble about it, I mean I've sorted it all now. How are you?
Yeah as long as my computer works. Only thing is is that it's going to be a hell of a lot of work when it's ok and that will be me that gets it in the morning.
My work computer. I can only check people in by giving them a key, I can't take payment or do anything else.
