    It's going to be interesting trying to grow on our property when we finally move. Giant moths everywhere = hornworms, grasshoppers galore, and surrounded by sugar cane fields which = aphids and rodents. May have to forgo the natural way and resort to all out nuclear warfare.

    Had a great time at the Louisiana hot sauce festival. Met some amazing people, tried some outstanding sauces and salsas and was given a very generous donation of plants from windchicken.

    I swear they're taking longer than some of my supers! Definitely agree that they're worth the wait. I really need to go back and work out who sent me the pods I got seeds from last year. Beautiful and delicious pods!

    You can pick up veiled chameleons pretty cheap at most reptile shows. Might be an easier sell than a scorpion. Plus they would be a little more efficient at destroying crickets and they are just cool as heck!

    So apparently our new land is on an old sugarcane field. Really hoping this means we'll have outstanding soil, rather than completely depleted dirt. I have a feeling it'll be the latter though.

    We stayed at Excalibur last time as well. Hopefully you upgraded to the "widescreen rooms" in Tower II. It is about an extra $20 a night, but well worth it. Did you make sure and hit up Wicked Spoon at the Cosmopolitan Hotel? Our favorite buffet. Bacchanal at Caesar's is great too.

    you need to stay at red rock definitely better hotel than the strip laid back great views and you can go hiking across the street or catch a taxi to the strip

    TNR-don't know if they upgraded or not as my parents paid for it as we were part of their vacation, but we were in tower 2. Didn't try any buffets at all, as we were all too hectic trying to see as much as possible in the time we had. Next time will just be the wife and I. so will be more laidback and will definitely do buffets.
