Great entrees so far guys I feel like I got blown out of the competition before I even posted my throw down lol :)

You guys are in a whole other league, way out of mine. I am impressed, really impressed, some of the offerings I would expect to see in restaurants, seriously.

In the making of some Italian bread that would make your grandma slap her grandma!

Some crumbled hot Italian sausage, drained and dry rubbed with some Instant Ramen beef seasoning packet (gourmet isn't it)

Fresh mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, crumbled Italian sausage.

Zongtang Steak hoagie

Buns:
Fried noodles; (Pan fry all ingredients)
Ramen noodles boiled in 2 Cups chicken broth with crushed Thai chiles. Drained and cooled overnight in fridge. Then dice to ~ ¼”.
Green onion
Thai chiles, fresh green
Red bell pepper
Garlic
Ginger, fresh
Soy Sauce
Peanut oil for frying
Dough; (form dough ball let rest 10 Min then knead in fried Ramen noodles, let dough rise 1hr, then form in rolls and rise again)
Flour
Water
Egg
Salt
Sugar
Yeast
Egg wash and sesame seeds on top

Beef:
Beef marinade; (marinade beef for 2hrs)
Egg white
Corn Starch
Mirin
Soy Sauce
Ramen flavor packet
Thinly sliced beef
Drain beef and fry in a Wok/pan with hot oil

Beef sauce:
Green onion
Garlic
Thai chiles
Orange zest
Ginger
Sugar
Beef broth
Rice vinegar
Soy Sauce
Sesame oil
Peanut oil
Corn starch
Water

Plated with a side of Shanghai Cracker:
Flour
Water
Sesame oil
Scallions
Cilantro
Sesame seeds, toasted
Coarse sea salt


My original thought was to do a Philly Cheese Steak, but that would have been too easy, but still wanted to do street or pub fair, with an Asian twist. I turned out very delicious, even though every now and again I’d get a strong bite with that Ramen flavor and it gave me one powerful head ach. If I never eat Ramen again it still will be too damn soon. Everyone’s entries are awesome, and I should have seen SD Easter basket coming, but that was funny, anyhow I had fun.

Dude those pics are the same, put that awesome simmering meat and chili pic in there as #1 and keep #2. Money!
