Bodeen's 2013 Grow _-_ Love at First Sting

Not actually starting this yet. Just trying to get my thoughts together on what and how many I will be planting of everything. There is the possibility that there will be no cows here next year and the pastures will be made into corn fields. This would mean the barn lot will be free and empty. It grows some of the best grass on the farm and the barn does have a well and a pump already there. Could it be garden number 3??? Also contemplating enlarging the back garden again.

Jeff,
Nice harvest shots..
I'm diggin that venison dish. ...a good venison chili or meatloaf go great during the football season, also .........cold brew, of course..
We usually head up to Mich to get the "Red Havens" ...need to eat those over der sink or the juice will just drip down the arms !
Man, that's cool that you have peach trees right out on the property.
It is nice. Looking to plant a couple more red haven trees next year if all goes as planned. Want to do a couple more pears as well.

The venison dish is quick and quite cheap when all I have to buy is the rice. Hit 102 degrees here today so chili is a ways off lol.

Got myself a pretty little bowl full of heat here.

First burgundy I seen with this stinger.  I admit I haven't really looked, but its the first one I have grown with a stinger.

Nice looking pod jeff!  It looks a lot like a TS, nice and smooth and great looking stinger.  But this one is a bit deeper red.....almost....burgundy....

Nice burgundy's...I think everything I am growing this year wants a freaking stinger! Waiting for the Jal's to get theirs next....

Do you think the seed from one with a stinger is more apt to put out stingers next year?  I have been curious about that with seeds for a while.

Not sure but well worth a try! I have several types that are doing that and I am going to take a gamble and grow out the plants from the seed.

Just had another burgundy omelet and this is the hottest pepper yet. It even got the saliva flowing this time. Great flavor and the heat focused on tongue and gums. Faded fast once I finished eating.

My peach bhuts are starting to turn, but the pods aren't sexy looking like I was hoping.

Did a small harvest this morning.  Had to pick some for my fishing buddies girlfriend, so I picked a few extra to dry.  Mail lady is stopping by tomorrow to load up on some mid heat level peppers.  Going to try to talk her into some higher end heat.

Fishing Buddies Pull.  His girlfriend has been wanting to try some hotter peppers.  He isn't a fan, but I think I have her set up with some heat.

Bouncing around Ebay and seen an intriguing auction title.  Yellow Butch T.  Of course in the description they are called yellow Trinidad scorpion 7 pot.

They can be as high as 600,000 scotville!!!  I think than is near Danville!!!

Gave three big bags full of peppers to the mail lady today.  Was saying how I can't wait until the pears are ripe so I can go buy a couple bushel.  She says she might be able to get some if the tree produced for me.  Good deeds equal good karma.  Next year I will be planting a couple pear trees in the orchard.

Thank you.  The cherry and big bombs have been the best they have ever done for me.  Made a jar full of powder, have a bag chopped in the freezer, ate on them all summer, just gave all of these to my mail lady, and the plants are still loaded.  Biggest pods I have ever gotten off these peppers too.
