gas prices

in CT it is a cash price, and it may have gone down again today; also i didnt think any state in new england was still using MTBE, they all switched to ehtanol a couple-few years ago

I just saw it for 1.93 and will fill up tomorrow...if I'm lucky I will get away with less than 50 for the first time in months...

AU$1.25 a litre, average.

So,
x3.79 =AU$4.74 a US gallon ( US$3.21)
x4.50 =AU$5.63 a UK gallon (GBP£2.42, or 0.5378 per litre)

Exchange rates:
AU$1.00= US$0.6767
AU$1.00=GBP£0.4306

yup - we're getting shafted

In Germany the litre gas is about 1,329 € which is today 1,69 US $. One gallon is 3.79 litres. So the gallon is 6,41 US $. In summer the litre was 1,559 € which was round about 2,34 US $ at that time equivalent to 8,87 US $ per gallon.

its about $2.30 a gallon in VT, $2.15 CT, $2.20 MA, $2.15 NH; at least where i get gas, which isnt far of the interstate, so prices may be much lower elsewhere... I wonder when it will start to climb again..

I havent seen 2.15 here yet Sid must be more north its hanging around 2.20. - 2.25 --granted thats a hell of a lot better than it was!!
