off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Went to pick up my sod yesterday early as requested to find dude sold my pallet, lol. He assured me the truck was in the field getting loaded and it would be there in 2 hours. It arrived and we did the job. Always something though. Its 55 outside,havent felt that type of temp in months. Not cool. Bike ride I think and then just chilling with the wife. Good morning. Happy Halloween . Sic - we’ll take your 55*F temp any day, comfortable weather. We’re heading out to the CG this AM to dig out some composting leaves and leaf mold for the home garden. We worked on the pile yesterday so I know it’s good stuff. The leaves are still on most of the trees, just waiting for them to fall. I love this time of year, just wish the weather would be less erratic.

Good morning. I’m up before sunrise, unusual for this time of year. Either oatmeal or a egg burrito for breakfast. We brought home 5 trash cans of garden additives for the soil but then the wind picked up, too cold to stay outside. I’m making a wire leaf collection bin instead of bagging all the leaves. Lots more to do this warmer week, we used to call it Indian Summer.

Good morning.  It's 35 on its way to 50.  Bacon, fried eggs and toast with some blackberry jam this morning.  I've got some office work to do and then maybe a walk.  Chiefs game at noon.  Not sure what else we've got going on.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning. We have a few Monday errands, a requested layette to put together for a refuge family, then clean up outside. There are still 2 landscape projects waiting to be completed. One may be there another year. . 5 second commute to work for Harry sounds like the best way to go to work. Sics new garden sounds exciting - size? Details.

Ill have to get you some official measurments on the garden and what she is planting. Picking and shipping peppers this morning then putting around outside. Got all vehicles washed yesterday,still need to wash mower. Have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning.  It's 39 on its way to 73.  Not feeling too well ..... sore throat and headache ..... all of that fun stuff. Going back to bed.  I don't understand how I could get sick as I haven't been anywhere in a couple of weeks.  Probably something I caught from one of the grandkids.  My wife got the garden cleanup completed yesterday so we're pretty much ready for winter.  I might have to mow one last time.  Not sure what else is going on today besides the election.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. The garden plans got put on hold as my friend asked for a ride to the doctor. We were gone from 12-5pm. Lots of waiting. So today I’m hoping to gather more bags of leaves for my bin and enjoy this weather. Feel better Harry. Lots of warm wishes coming your way. Kudos to your wife for the cleanup. Good morning.  It's 53 on its way to 71.  I've still got whatever I've got.  I need to get tested but have no idea on how/where to even start.  Planning on working normal hours today.  We'll see how it goes.  Not sure what else we've got going on.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. Sunny, in the 70’s for another few days. Harry, call a clinic or 2 near you to be tested for COVID-19, you may or may not need a referral. Better to be safe and check. Today is my annual physical where they ask questions about your life. Not really what we’ve been used to, but it’s good to talk w/my doctor. Sic - how’s your garden growing? Details.

Our garden is going great its a tleast 20x30 and has a coiuple bannana trees and lemon grass and a blueberry bush. Rows of lettuce, kolarobi, squash, egg plant, cucumber,peas,green beans,herbs, brocolli,cabbage and is surrouned by 6 catnip plants and 24 pineapples for border. second garden that we are working on will be about 800 square feet. Filled mostly with squash and some other things. we also have a spot in our back yard that has 15 pineapple and garlic surrounding them. Wife has plans for a third garden also. Defiently get a workout in breaking ground as im doing it all with a pix axe. 
 
  Bike ride and a walk in this morning after bacon and eggs. Need to mow real quick then probably headed to the shop for a couple beers. Have a great day and good morning. Hope your physical went well.
 
Good morning.  It's 47 on its way to 77.  Sic .... that's a lot of garden and manual labor.  I've got an appointment this morning for a COVID test in the town to the north of us .... maybe 25 miles away.  Busy office schedule today.  Probably taking a break from the garden for a few weeks.  My wife says she's got one more batch of tomatoes to process into sauce and one more batch of Aji Amarillos to process .... then she's going to take a break too.  Not sure what else is going on today.  Be safe and be good.
