off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Have two lawns to mow today, still need to clean off carport roof. Mostly chilling today though. Hope everyone still has all their fingers after last nights festivities. Lots more rain coming the next few days. Yall be safe have a great week and good morning.
 
Good morning.  It's 72 on its way to 90.  It gets a little hotter each day.  The fishing was great.  We finally found a local lake that seems to contain some bigger fish ..... LOL.  Just got back in from the garden and I picked our first tomato.  It was a 4th of July variety and ironically I picked it on the 5th of July.  We had a momma owl and 2 owlets out in pasture.  They were all sitting on hay bales.  I think she was giving the youngsters hunting training.  I plan on doing as little as possible today.  Perhaps some tinkering around in the garden and maybe running a few errands.  I might sit in the grandkid's pool later on.  Grilling and beverages this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. Yesterday’s travel to the mountains was beautiful with lots of green (and rocks, of course). We saw lots of traffic and bicyclists, and a few hikers, close to some sort of normalcy. Today is back to chores. Harry - we need pics of your fish and you in the kiddie pool.

Good morning.  It's 67 (19c) on its way to 91 (33c).  Mostly sunny, warm and humid.  Moderate meeting schedule today.  Catherine.... I'll start taking some pictures of our fish.  Harvested 30 lbs of Yukon Gold potatoes yesterday.  Many more still to harvest.  Also harvested about half of our beets.  My wife is going to be busy pickling this week.  Our garlic is ready for harvest too.  Grilled some Alaskan Sockeye Salmon last night.  Good stuff.  Not sure what we've got going on later this afternoon.  Grilling and beverages this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
mowing at stables and need to go give a bid. Another lady that went to school with my wife that thinks everything should be free. People are funny, march about living wages, ect, ect then when its time to pay the lawn guy they go with the cheap drunk that has equipment he cant keep running or they stiff you and act like you should be happy to be doing cheap work for them. People are strange, I stay away as much as possible. Very blessed to be married to my best friend. We only need each other and for the most part only hangout with each other. Rain coming in hard this evening I guess? Yall be cool, behave and have a great day. Good morning.
 
Good morning. Sic - I definitely understand your predicament with people who want something for nothing. I get that all the time, with people that thinking the community garden is for the community. I have lots of stories. Stay strong. Harry, nice to hear of your harvests with lots of work ahead. Busy morning with appts and errands, then comes garden if the weather complies.

Good morning.  It's 64 (18c) on its way to 87 (31c).  A stray afternoon T-storm is in the forecast.  I've got a very light meeting schedule today.  I was able to mow yesterday.  With this crazy weather, I'm back to mowing twice a week.  Sic .... man do I have some stories about being the lawn guy and getting paid .... that was a previous life .... we could discuss for hours over an adult beverage.  Got the garlic and potatoes curing.  My wife is ready to pickle beets.  Not sure what I've got going on later this afternoon.  Be safe, be blessed and be good.    
 
Good morning. We got the garlic dug and hung outside under the deck, though last night’s rain may have made the process longer. We lost power at 10pm, then when it returned a few hours later we woke to noise everywhere. Another 100*F temp predicted for tomorrow, but it’s too wet to do much in the garden today. I’m watching the dogs for my neighbor and enjoying the day.

Storms didnt do anything on my property. Guess down the road in Ridge Manor got hit with a tornado. Some flooding in Tampa also. Harry, adult beverages and lawn dog stories, im in. Not doing much today as its going to rain. Yall have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning.  It's 66 on its way to 87.  Turning sunny and nice.  Yesterday afternoon, we got some T storms that dumped another 1" of rain on us.  Today is my Friday (not working tomorrow).  Very busy work schedule today.  Looks like 8 meetings are on today's schedule.  My wife finished her first batch of pickling beets.  We've got stuff hanging and sitting everywhere.  We've got blackberries, garlic, onions, beets and potatoes all in process.  I picked a couple dozens pods yesterday too.  Planning on fishing early tomorrow morning.  I'm pretty sure the grandkids will be here for the weekend.  Grilling and beverages this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Have to go to neighbours and remove a branch from her sons trailer that fell on it and broke window during storm. Then its off to stables to mow. Hopefully i dodge most of the rain today. Wife is at the stables and will be working in her gardens this afternoon. We got tickets to Black Crowes in September. Got us 3 concerts coming up within the next few months, Korn, Crowes and Slipknot. Be good and enjoy the day. Good morning.
 
Good morning. We have temps close to 100*F for the next 2 days. Starting to divide iris for a personal swap rather than the group. Community Garden first for watering and iris, then to the dentist. Harry - it’s nice to see a great harvest coming your way so soon. Lots of hard work, especially for your wife. Sic - glad this storm didn’t affect you.

Good morning. 102*F yesterday, similar today. Taking the friend to have her annual physical today, then dividing iris for tomorrow’s trade. Lots more weeding of dill at the CG, it never seems to dwindle.

Good day.  Just got back from fishing.  It's hot and breezy.  High 80s.  Good fishing.  We caught maybe 20 catfish and a few bass.  I caught a giant carp.  It was fun.  A front is supposed to come through tonight with severe storms tonight and tomorrow.  Not doing much the rest of the day.  The grandkids are here keeping grandma busy.  Grilling and beverages this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. It looks like a few cooler days for the weekend, iris swap, check out the weeds at the CG, and replant the garlic area. Sounds like Harry’s fishing day was a success.
