TB, what about a hamburger, hot dog, and Philly all in one?

How dare you diss the hot dog thread TB! Them's fightin' words! And you're no daisy. You're no daisy atall!

Well, I have a camera for once! Unfortunately I'm worn out from lots of drunken 4th shenanigans so all I made was some simple dogs. I guess we all have our own preferences in how to make the proper dog, I personally don't like all the weird toppings of Chicago style etc, I prefer to keep it pure and simple (though a good chilli cheese dog or Sonora dog can be pretty damn good). Nathan's dogs are my favorites, grilled of course...

My condiments: Yellow mustard and ketchup (of course I don't ever use ketchup so I substituted some homemade habanero-Thai sauce)

All the mustard's I passed up, because yellow mustard is king for a regular hotdog:

Saucing up the buns:

And voila!

Hot dogs "a la hippy seed company":

Grill desired number of your favorite hot dogs and put them in your favorite buns. For every two hot dogs, drizzle one teaspoon each of Turkey Slap and Skobiyan. Cover in mustard and enjoy. Oh and don't forget to lick your spoon clean; those sauces are too good to waste.

This is my new favorite way to eat a hot dog. They taste great with the sauce and have a pleasant amount of heat.

This is a cheap and quick hot dog.
On the right is a jar of homemade pesto and a very innocent looking jar of Habanero flakes.

Fisrt the onion and garlic

Then the cheap sausages until the skin splits and the smoke alarm goes off

A smother of pesto and in go the dogs

Now close your eyes and think happy thoughts :D
I should have taken a half-eaten shot but I was too hungry.
So hungry I might make some more in a few hours.

I dare someone to make and post a Rueben dog, substitute the dog for the corned beef or have corned beef along with the hot dog.

Here's my first hot dog offering: Angus beef dog, Bavarian style krout, yellow mustard, plain white bun, and pickled jalapenos from my garden.

Sorry about having a bite taken out of it in the pic. I couldn't wait ;)
