Argh gophers finally made it to my established ghost peppers. Time to plant some gopher purge and or caster beans. Die gopher scum die! Hope gopher purge works

Finally transplanted the last 20 seedlings into 5g pots. I think that soil place gave me more soil then last time.. i will definitely buy from them for part of my soil mix when they are ready go into the ground. Im thinking a mif loam, cow and horse manurer in the sandy soil.x of o

Edit wow never type and talk lol

Well two weeks after transplant to 5g pots for the back row and half a week for the front row. Have an insect issue so time for some insectidel soap. Lets see if that helps. The are still growing nicely but some curl going on and little holes. May line the pots with some copper wire for slugs as well

How's that bargain soil working? Did you add anything to it? Got slug issues over here too. Find them little SOB's every morning. Lookin good so far! Been using bonide for my issues...everything I've thrown at them just knocks them down a bit, but nothing is solving it.

if you use copper, they cant cross it...shocks the lil buggers. lil beer cups also helps. also you can buy a predator snails that works well for long term...also there are other ways to control them likenematodes, good luck!

Anywho they are doing great in the soil. it seems like they double in size every week, I guess I take a closer pic of the oldest transplants. Anywho all I have added is Dr earth 5 at the time of transplant.

Although i have some snail or slug issues, the primary is lil flying critters. A ton of gnats all around the place but I can tell that some nastier guys are attacking them. for the most part they just keep growing but 1 out of lets say 5 leaves is curled and lil holes and so forth.

Ok a close up

I picked a couple even though they are not ripe and will eat one later...lets see how tastey they are!

Yup definitely not ripe taste wise but a nice kick to them. Man i missed these things

Lookin good man! They're already loading up! My drip system went in pretty easy...should be a breeze! Hot here in Poway today. Plants are loving it.

Ya drip is a breeze just i need to put in another valve and its actually my neighbors. Front yard lol. Gotta do what you gotta do.

As i was transplanting the warm air kept gusting in one direction and then another. A couple started to wilt but not.
much. The soil is horrible clay so next day off im going to get a yard of sand and work it in the spaces between the plants but at least i emptied a trashcan of the three left over soil from lasting. Time so progress!

really nice job man! That little curved garden is going to look cool once the plants fill it in!
Thanks it helps my neighbor who doesnt have the cash to landscape and me with my peppers! Just finished planting all the seedlings but one tabasco which i may just give to churchills as i dont really care for tabasco and already have six in the ground. Nearly 500' of 1/2 dripline for all the plants and probably wednesday install my fert injector into it. Man that was some work though time for a beer on my sunday!
