I made some pork barbacoa tacos last. No toppings. Just meat and hot sauce.

Leftover carne guisada tacos for supper tonight. I froze the leftovers from the last batch I made recently and yesterday decided that I wanted them again. Modded refried beans, diced jalapeño and onion with lime juice, queso fresco cheese and bacon went on the little street taco size tillas. The HBD sauce was on the tacos and the Cholula was on the freshly fried chips.

Toppings can be fillers sure but also they can add texture. All-meat is soft. Throw some pico, or some slaw/radish just for crunch, hit it with hot sauce, boom!
