The Count said:Do pita bread gyros count as tacos??? If so the here is the steak gyros we had tonight. Skirt steak was marinaded in spicy Italian dressing and a little Worcestershire overnight. The bell pepper, jalapeño and onion were marinaded shortly in olive oil and spices. Some pickled pepperoncini, feta cheese, tzatziki sauce, fresh tomato and Matouks hot sauce finish it off.

Thousands of years ago.
In the time of the white buffalo.
And the saber tooth.
The caveman.
The Neanderthal.
People made unleavened bread.
Put some fire roasted meat on it.
And ate it.
The first tacos.
Later....
Some guy named Jesus was feeding unleavened bread and fish to the 5,000.
The worlds first fish tacos.
And then came the Mayans.
The Aztecs.
Mexico.
They perfected the taco.
Because Jesus.
A Jew.
With a Mexican name.
