The bell pepper, jalapeño and onion were marinaded shortly in olive oil and spices. Some pickled pepperoncini, feta cheese, tzatziki sauce, fresh tomato and Matouks hot sauce finish it off.

And then came the Mayans.
 
The Aztecs.
 
Mexico.
 
They perfected the taco.
 
Because Jesus.
 
A Jew.
 
With a Mexican name.
 
I made chicharrones and chorizo tacos tonight. Everything used is in the first pic except for the garlic. The tomatillos and half the peppers get cooked in water. The chorizo gets pan fried and drained. The onion and other half of the peppers get cooked in the chorizo grease. Then the tomatillos and pepper mix gets blended with cilantro, garlic , the water they cooked in and salt and pepper. That mix gets added to the onions and peppers, at the and time add the chicharrones and cooked chorizo. Simmer until chicharrones are soft and serve with rice and cheese.

Yes you can. My wife wanted to like this meal, but cant get over the mushy pork rinds. Its one of those texture over taste things. Even our 4yo said it smelled really good

And a big dose of Fiesta Chile Lime as it hit the griddle.
