We did a lot of drawing and planning while building the kitchen. I especially like those metal shelves from Ikea - I don't even have to let the pans cool down before stashing them on the shelf :-) And storing the utensils hanging on the wall hooks saved us two entire drawers of piss-you-off tangled up utensils.
 
Well gas is allowed here without a hood. But I have a recirculating.
 
And yeah IKEA rocks for some stuff, sucks for other. But I love that store.

Shrimp were deveined and peeled.
 
Thrown into a bowl tossed with one egg.
 
Then dredged in 50/50 corn starch/ AP flour.
 
Mazola corn oil @350f.
 
I was tempted to do mochiko hawaiian style.
 
I.E. mochiko rice flour dredge.
 
Then egg wash.
 
Then a second dredge in the corn starch/ AP.
 
But I got lazy.
 
Still came out super crispy.
 
The same mochiko 'thang.
 
Works great on chicken too!
 
This kane rocks it.
