food-bev Ozzy's All Grain on deck

Got the starter going for the Citra brew tomorrow.  Got it sitting on my ghetto stir plate.  Just going to look over the recipe again, then I'll rise and grind the grain, then brew. :)

Nice ... I'm going to rise and grind all of the things tomorrow, too ;)

Had salad for my day's food (along w/ a lot of big beers), so that I can eat two huge burgers tomorrow ...

I've been saving up calories over the course of a couple of days, that I plan to cash in tomorrow - LOL ...

lol I'm still full from mine.  Those fatties are filling af.  I really did have to go lay down for a 1/2 hr then destroy the bathroom.  I can at least move now lol.  Switched to water though now.

I can't wait. Without a doubt the most pungent hop smell out of the bag I've ever had, in a good way.

Should be around 100 IBUs. The yeast was definitely ready to rock off the stir plate. I really like this yeast. It's pretty beast.

yeah, I'm a little citra-crazy right now myself ...

the galaxy is pretty nice, too ... but I'll be brewing some stovetop red-eye within a couple of weekends, for sure!

I'm going to definitely try out the Galaxy hops. That Rudie IPA I had was great. I need to go buy more of them.
