Potawie's summer of 09 porn

Those are the oddest tomatoes I've ever seen. How would a person go about eating one of those Potawie? Very cool.:)

Like this kinda special?

How the hell do you slice/eat one of these things?

Now that its officially summer, I can post some porn updates.

Here's a giant white hab with a few dozen+ pods

Any ripe giant whites yet? Where are they on the habanero scale of heat and taste?

Here's a few recent pics I thought I'd share of my crazy reisentomate tomatoes

Whenever I see them I think "It's not a TUMOR!"

The strawberry tomato looks yummy and those others are still the oddest i have ever seen...cant wait to hear how they taste!

Things are really starting to grow lately in Potawie-land, and I've been picking quite a few pods. Here's some updated pics:

Crimson hot: Still no ripe ones, but I really love the shape and flavor of these and am getting anxious

Jalapeno M bonsai: No ripe ones in a while, but I love the looks of this one

Giant Aconcagua: Getting big but I'm letting the ripen to red

Nice tree trunk stems on your plants, mate. Those things look like they could slap an F-1 torado in the face and call it a noobish gust of wind.

wow.. fantastic as usuall dude...

k2's look really cool..how do they taste ?

I haven't tasted the k2 f2's yet other than in a sauce. The f1's were quite fruity and hot but not smokey/harsh the way I find red savinas or Caribbean reds, but more of a Caribbean flavor

Here's one more pic I forgot to post of my Piment D'espelette. Its just starting to ripen, and I have Bronx the gargoyle protecting it, but only at night:)

I'm getting a few plants now that are turning out different than expected, but that's one of my goals this year, to sort and evaluate some of my older seeds and known hybrids

Here's what was supposed to be a poblano red. I think my original seeds were unlabelled f1's, so these are likely f2's

This was originally a big yellow chinense f1(or PYC, Potawie's yellow chinense) but the f2 is small, red and the shape of a tooth or an arrow-head

This was supposed to be a giant white 'hab'. After several years of problems, I finally got 2 pods last year, but they must have already been hybrids since this year I'm getting different phenotypes suggesting that they are now f2's
