food The Drunken Chef

Yeah! No kidding! That sauce goes so well on almost everything.

I was eating it on crackers the other day in front of my kindergarten class during lunch and they thought I was nuts. (I PUT MASKING TAPE OVER THE TATAS ON THE BOTTLE AND WROTE MY NAME THERE - STEALTH!)
 
Chips, but I would eat this out of a flip flop if I had to. The poppers are going to be dunking in it as well when they are done, but I can't wait that long. Here it is:

Chorizo cooking down, then I added a can of diced tomatoes, two big Tbs of my green chile sauce, one Tbs of AJ's Naga Puree

Start melting the cheese (Velvetta type)

Start prepping the poppers, cut them open take the seeds out, stuff with habanero jack cheese

Added the Hatch, NM chile powder.

Jalapenos wrapped in bacon, Habs wrapped in prosciutto.

Snack time! Stay tuned for the poppers.
 
You have no idea. This is about as close to Heaven as you can get with a food. Make this, and women will want you, men will want to be you, and the world will be a better place. Now if those damn poppers would just get done!

They're coming. Man is my oven dirty. Gonna have to clean that.
 
Ok they are done. Now I am full from the BOWL of queso I ate. Gonna have to wait for round two to eat the poppers.

Yeah, kinda new. Mrs. JayT got me a set of Emerilware for Christmas year before last. It finally made its way out of the box. I decided it only appropriate to drink tequila with this in honor of our drunken tomfoolerishnessy last year. Don't worry not much of what you see there will make it through this night. I have been eating ALL DAY though. Need a break.

I had some oatmeal this morning. A few carrot slices for lunch and just now a snack of Texas cereal (fritos & pace picante in a bowl, eaten with a spoon.) Bring the poppers. I'M STARVING HERE!!
 
No way can my drumsticks compete with the awesomeness of poppers and meaty cheese dip.....nor would I even try!

Photobucket is giving me fits....photos.....eventually! :lol:
 
Spent last night and today drinking and potting up plants with hubby. He went for the Bud, I went for the wine. Gallo was calling my name :)

Here was supper tonight... Pork chops w/ habanero jelly on the grill, peas, and dessert was Strawberry, red hab sauce. And again vino for me and Bud for the hub.

Prepared the sauce first - so that it had time to cook before dessert time. Cut up the berries, diced up the habs, poured some honey over it and added a little sugar.

Put the chops on the grill, and as they finished, added the hab jelly.

By the time the food was done I was out of wine :( ( I don't touch bud - yuck :sick:)

Well thats my contribution for the night...I gotta go look thru the cupboards and find me some fixin's for some Scooby snacks. :)
