Odin ! - I only just saw these pics...!! That is what I want, right there in that pie dish...gotta have a reeecipe and some instructions for cookin that thang :eek:
 
made some different curry tonight

tastes bomb

didnt make the sauce from scratch, I found this awesome stuff earlier this week at the grocery store, so I got a new variety

mouth has a nice burn to it too, and I didnt add any other heat to it

:( Unfortunately, even though I found 2 old digital cameras today, neither will turn on. I guess my drunken genius will go unrecognized by THP world for now...

LunchBox, I'm lovin the curry, that dish is a favorite of mine.

Justaguy I think you inspired me, I have chocolate brownie mix in my pantry and a shaker of bhut powder that I'm going to turn into a nice surprise for any drunks who think to steal my desert from the refrigerator when I'm not looking. :twisted:

OK Y'all, the is the "drunken chef by osmosis" post!

New member Scoville Deville was having trouble getting an image hosting site set up so I offered to post pics for him. I couldnt' find the "what are you drinking right now" thread, so I ended up here! (go figure! lol )

Tequila Jalapeno Lime Muddle- by Scoville DeVille-

The drink name is pretty self explanitory. Scoville DeVille, wanna post the "recipe"?



That was the "drunken" part, now the "chef" part....
A nice filet of Black Cod, heavily seasoned with Cajun Spice in the hot pan with a little oil.

diced up a Gala apple, (and what the heck, since it was sitting there...fleshed out the 1/2 grapefruit...) tossed it with minced shallots, yellow pepper blend, spicy worcestershire sauce, and a dash of balsamic vinegar. Sauteed the apple mix in the fish pan drippings, deglazed the pan with a little more spicy worcestershire sauce, and served it on a chiffonade of spinach.

Aw, well, just a couple weeks for us...., things can get back to normal~~~
 
I was just looking at DeVille's pics of the drinks and thinking..."man, we got us another contender here!"



And I remembered a little get-together we had about 8 years ago-
Scoville DeVille and Mrs. DeVille got together with another couple and had their own mini-throwdown with Mole Sauce. I think we had about 10-12 people there, we all tasted each sauce, (one in a red bowl, one in a blue bowl to keep it unbiased) and then we voted for the best Mole Sauce. I don't remember who won, but that was Sum Fun! It also totally turned me on to Mole!

Thanks...and BIENVENIDOS! That was my first attempt at a red curry...and it was amazing.

Holy Crap. That has everything we could ask for (except possibly a microwave hot dog). I mean tequila, black cod, pizza, that green stuff that I have been seeing Wheebz post lately, Wow!

Just what I was thinking. It's really hard to take anything seriously without a hotdog involved...:onfire:
 
That green stuff is to counteract all the fried stuff last weekend.

Yeah SL, that was kind of a TD way back when. The other guy won, but later found out Mr.SL voted wrong ha ha!

Doings some "research" tonight for some reviews. Made some wings and some ham bbq sandwiches. Check out the "homemade" bbq sauce.
