Brats look tasty paulky

One of my favorite things to do with brats is to remove the skin from the outside before boiling them in beer/spices, and then finish them up on the grill. It really infuses the meat with the beer flavor. Gotta be careful not to overcook them that way though.

Btw, I'm new here, and it took me multiple days to just skim through this thread... 363 pages of drunken awesome. Pure genius.
 
Decided to try my hand at a Thai red curry...

Ingredients ready to go...

Fresh garlic, peanuts, and bird's eye to start...in a mix of wok-oil, hot chile oil, and peanut oil...

When that was golden, add the red jap and the habi...

Give it a minute or two, and toss in the marinated chicken...

Toss in the red curry seasoning mix, and add the onion/baby-bella/green onion mix...

And ready to eat. Absolutely mind-blowing how good this was. To hell with the pics...this was one of the best dishes to ever enter my face.

Ok so I figured even though I only got 2 pics I was intoxicated so this thread fits.

Thank you for the bazillionth time to buddy for the apple/cherry smoked bhut flakes.

Yeah I know no plate up pics, but I am intoxicated again so here ya go. !/4 tablespoon of the flakes got mixed in after I mixed the marble together, so no marble effect. The beauty of watching someone eat a brownie and their eyes popping open. :rofl: :rofl: time for another :beer:

That looks splendid old chap. Do the peanuts retain most of their crunch or do they soften up a bit?.....I've always wondered about cooking with peanuts Thai style....I mean, I've made satay before but always crunched the nuts!
