Desert Sauce called Dragon's Blood? OK Why don't I have that in MY refer? In fact why isn't it on EVERY grocery store shelf (outside of Florida ;) )?
What's in it? Chocolate? Ghost Pepper?

I know everyone who lurks on THP checks Drunken Chef.
Here's a little-known, unsolicited fact...

Rocketman makes the coolest sauces on this site...including the people who have commercial licenses.
As a hobby this guy busts out stuff you could never imagine! (you can check him out...it's all over the place...crazy stuff!)

The Dragon's Blood has hot peppers and chocolate in it. All semi-sweet ingreds and a tough of high-end balsamic to keep it sterile. So damn good, especially on ice cream.
I was fortunate enough to travel hundreds of miles to barter some homebrewing equipment in exchange for some homemade hot sauce and his friendship. It's been a good deal on my end, fo sho!!!

That meal looks awesome. You are doin it right, bro!!!!

Now take a dish of that ice cream to the missus and see what happens...

I can't give out the ingreds, but it has raspberry, habanero, and dark chocolate (among other things).

It's beyond description in typed words.

-spoiler alert- when I ate some on vanilla ice cream, I was able to re-create the video to "All the Single Ladies" in one take, but I sang it with Barry White's voice.

Blues Kitchen was feelin' salmon fritters ya'll. This ain't no health kick dish but hey, sometimes you just got to get down brown and get your grease on. Wanted to use some habs in this one but the local Try-N-Save's habs just looked like azz. Fish wasn't much better so decided I'd go with some canned salmon I keep in the pantry for emergency purposes.

Minced Texas Sweet onion
Roasted red bell pepper
Pickled jalapeno
Hot bo-hunk paprika
Garlic
Flour
Egg
Fresh cracked black
Chopped parsley

Love those salmon patties. Cool thing about them is you can make them HOT and the flavor still stands up.
Next time I'm in Texas, you might find a big' ol' pimpin' Caddy in your driveway...
 
SD, I love my queso but I've eaten my ration for awhile. I'm almost maxed out on my deep fried credit card too. No matter. I'm back to my usual rabbit food on monday. I say monday because mrs. blues and I might have to hit this joint for lunch today....

Had plans to record this debacle for the DC but got so hammered on Jim Beam with IPA chasers that I lost the ability to use the camera right around serving time.

Made a nice sauce with sun-dried toms and a Caribbean red to go with this but it was still sitting in the oven when I got up this morning, untouched :crazy:

Ok, first things first. I do not have any booze pics to show because I am sort-of on the wagon. I have been drinking a bit much lately and decided it was time to take a break and clean myself out. I know this may be hard to believe, but it really is true. That being said, I did make some kick@$$ food today and you ought to see it.

First is Dragonfire Marinara hot sausage sandwiches. (Review of Dragonfire Naga's Revenge forthcoming.)
