It looks like I am a bit late finishing my entry for the ramen throwdown, the thread is locked :(

Anyway, since I bothered taking pictures, and was rather drunk while cooking it, I figured I'd share it with yall.

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 6 teaspoons fish sauce
  • 6 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon each: scorpion morouga blend powder, thai hot powder, habanero powder, and cayenne powder
  • 1 lime
  • 1 minced onion
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 3 tablespoons full of tamarind paste
  • 3 packages of ramen (seasoning included)
  • 2 cups shrimp
  • 1 cup carrots
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 fresh hab, 1 fresh jalapeno

Soak the ramen slow so it doesnt get too mushy:

Sorry you missed the TD, yours looks great nice and spicy hot. I love the “action” shots you must have a hellofva camera, to freeze them ingredients without any blur.

Drunken Pineapple Curry.

Ingredients include coconut milk, carrots, fresh pineapple, celery, portabello mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, salt, sugar, sriracha, jolokia powder, tomatoes, snow peas, green curry powder, basil, sunflower oil, and whatever else I forgot:

Chopping onions and anticipating a Rochefort #8. This stuff is delicious and only 9% alcohol! Monks know beer.

Coconut milk will go in next along with some salt, sugar, curry powder, sriracha, jolokia powder, carrots, cauliflower, celery, and red pepper flakes.

alright this could also been the pizza thread, but it was during drunken times. Started off nice and easy sunday arvo in the sun, got a little carried away.

Well guess what? I finally got my photobucket problem solved. Here's tonight's supper. Jerk Jumbo Gulf Shrimp w/ Ramen Salad. Since I wasn't able to enter the throwdown, I will at least give you the lowdown on the salad.

Ingredients:

Red and White Cabbage
Green Onion
Daikon Radish
Gala Apple
Red and Yellow Hot Peppers (not sure what kind, some sort of pube though)
Cilantro
Uncooked Ramen crumbled

Dressing:

Rice Vinegar
Sesame Oil
Ponzu (citrus soy sauce)
Juice of an orange
Ginger
Pure Cane Sugar
Ramen Oriental Flavor Packet

Peep this...

Scovie whipped up some mean Mole at my place yesterday. We brought it over to FD's to devour. It is DC worthy as well, since we drank like fish all day and night long.

Ok, dinner's done so it's time for some Dessert. Tonight it's an Age Old Favorite. Root Beer Floats!

So, we start off with

Now we add some good ole Root Beer, this one fermented a bit longer than usual and so it’s has an ABV but who knows how much

Marsala Mushroom Cream Sauce Over Heineken braised pork

My Mise en place

3 tbsp Canola oil
2 Maui Onions, Julienned
2 pounds of pork cut in cubes
flour, garlic powder and onion powder

dredge the pork in the powder mix and brown it on the pan
then remove set aside

put my 2 heinekens then bring to boil

after boiling stick it in the oven around 1hr to 1:30mins so that the pork will be soft and tender
