food The Drunken Chef

We shall call this the quick, cheap and dirty seafood alfredo. I had way too many distractions tonight to cook from scratch (including bringing wine to my girlfriend stretched out in my tub...but I digress.)

Tonight we had seafood alfredo with shrimp, scallops, crab, mushrooms, and topped with bacon and black olives tossed with fettuccine.

Here is what I started with:

It was fast...it was cheap...and it was friggin fantastic!

Now, if you will excuse me....I'm going to finish my beer and go tend to my date! Y'all have a good evening...
 
OMG!!! That would be the ultimate in awesomeness meals. JayT's Poppers as an appetizer followed by Paul's Alfredo. Damn! You guys are good!!!

Here's my TV-Watching snax for tonight:

Nine-Grain Bread, Mequite Smoked Deli Turkey & Pastrami, Cheddar & American cheeses, red bell bepper, gypsy pepper, onion, sweet pickle relish, mayo, flatleaf parsley and homemade Super-Hot Chinese Mustard w/ GPS sauce. (from actual mustard powder..left it to react and develop for a luv-me-long-time before adding any vinegar that'd stop teh reaaction....also has dbl-black soysauce for a nice salty sweetness. ;-)

Well ya'll....mrs. blues confiscated my crab leg so I adjusted with a tex-mex rice and langostino. Serrano, 'peno and habanero chile's were involved along with generous squeezin's o' lime....

Looks like some gewd diabolical grub was hatched yesterday and this eve. The Black Ops SoFlo kitchen decided it was tizzime ta drizzink an' Chef Life it up.

Here's a bit of the tease:
We liftin' skirts tonight with some mad Chimichuri!

The skirts chillin' soakin' up the booze fumes with the help of some rock salt and chillin' with the marinade fixin's.

The skirt lifter in progress. Gonna add some fresh red tabascos to this mix. Got on a little recent tabasco kick... I have soo many.

Brushed off the rocks to bathe in some orange juice w/lime n onion. Didn't have the sour oranges on hand, woops! No worries... I'm gettin' hosed while marinading, werd?

Also have some black beans simmering with some red onion, a fine chopped garlic clove and some rendered bacon fat.
 
Not even cooked yet and the SoFlo's are getting the Congressional Medal of Freedom, a Nobel, an Oscar and possible Throwdown Crown (throwdown isn't even goin' on) How badass is THAT!!!

Holy hell, people...my head is melting. I think I may have done permanent damage to my skull in my pursuit of spicy satisfaction stemmed from last night's bland-ish dinner.....

Here is the roundup for tonight's drunken vigilante food-a-thon!

We have last night's seafood alfredo, a big boneless chichen breast, some (over) cooked canned asparagus....well drained, bacon, bacon fat (yay!!), a big slice of sourdough bread, jack cheese, homemade bhut powder, FOUR whole orange habs, a bit of salt....some CRP...and......wellll......a lot of beer!

PAIN....instant....severe....and relentless!! :hell:

It was like licking a lightning rod.......

So.....4 minutes later.....naturally, I went back for MORE!!!!
