food The Drunken Chef

More tzatziki than raita.

Those are some pretty drunk recipes! Freezer burned pesto chicken? lol

Garden pesto sauce sounds good. Mmm.

Yeah TB, WW Pasta. lol pretty good actually. a little firmer than I like but I might not have boiled it long enough.

That is the pesto CJ made with walnuts instead of pine nuts. Our Basil went crazy this year so we made lots of pesto.
We put it in ice cube trays, freeze it, then a freezer bag. nicely portioned (last night I used 7 cubes lol) and keeps pretty well.

tzatziki huh? sounds good to me. we happened upon something like it at a really great Indian joint years ago. best red curry I have ever had, to date. It is about as close as we can get it to what their tzatsiki tasted like. ice cold on hot naan... mmmmm

Kind of crazy I know, they also had Italian food. but plah...
I ain't orderin B-sketti at a joint called Marco Pollo's.
I know Mr. Pollo explored all them places, but this was an Indian restaurant! lol

TB, you remember that Seafood joint called Arnie's in Mukilteo? Marco Pollo's was right across the street.
(just thought you'd like to know hahahaha)

You probably had raita (Indian) but your ingredients looks more like tzatziki (Greek), or like a mix of both. They are similar.

Friend from high school swung through town yesterday.  Had to stock up on some things:

cracked those bottles open around 3:30 and by dinner time I still managed to do this without cutting off a finger or starting something on fire.

Is there a hung over chef thread?  'Cause the morning (afternoon really) started with cinnamon almond french toast pan fried in bacon fat.

Rawkstah that may be one of the best posts I have ever seen.

You got a dog in a pic.

And bacon.

Obviously drunk.

I don't know how many hot blue and chingon that is.

But its a lot!!!

Someone knew how to celebrate International Bacon Day!

Whoa. This happened last night. Sum did most the work... I was kinda just the sous chef chopping and digging the correct seasonings out of the abyss that is my pantry.
