while I will not be a participant as I'll be out of town for the SB, I am totally looking forward to seeing this one. With the folks who've already said they're doing it this should be a pretty epic collection of foods, and I'm psyched just to bite the recipes that get posted.

I wish I had the time for this. The one year that we did snacks for the SB, I did a spread that'd shame all others......for all time......but, we ended up being limited to just ONE recipe, so I had to re-do at the last minute. This year, I'll be up to my neck in pre-deployment requirements. But if I did....it'd look something like THIS:

Beer battered Nathans mini-dogs, sausage balls, Shrimp egg-roll poppers, mini spicy sausage calzones, Firecracker chicken and habanero kebabs, and authentic Philly cheeseteak sliders. Oh yes......my kung-fu is strong.....

Little known fact...paulky could have won "States" in 1989 with that football if coach would have put him in...

LOL...I'd love to enter...but trying to finish a 2 year masters degree in 1 year has been kicking the shit outta me. That...and running a business...and 2 young boys...

I knew you were all talk..........

Stop using the boys and school as an excuse, you know it's the new black fourwheeled addition to the family that you are wrapped up on.........

I really wish you'd just enter instead of talking about stuff and disappearing.................. smh!!!

:D

I got it...LOL...she doesn't mean anything by it, Scovestien-McGillicutty. She's referring to my new, old-ass 4Runner. And yes...the intricacies and quirks of a near 30 year old turbo charged, lifted, off-road beast does also occupy some time.

But...nachos are "finger foods"...so I should be in on this. If not, I have another idea brewing.

Nah.... read back a tad. He's already pointed out that the part you pick up is what counts - nachos you pick up the chip, not the toppings.

Um no...... He's already limited it to just one this time, too. You could probably find time to do ONE. ;)

Who could pick just one? That'd be like eating one potato chip, drinking one beer, stroking it once and going to bed. :P Just kidding.......but I AM too busy. Hell, I'm not even at home for most of the month due to pre-deployment requirements. And by the way, nachos most definitely ARE finger food.....unless you eat them with a tennis racket.
