edit: Who is your ISP way up there? BTW Im from Brunswick, Maine. Im going back someday. Maybe I will modify my GH so it looks more like yours. Gonna need it up there.

I just got hooked up through Rogers mobile but its not much faster than dial-up with the weak reception I get out in the country.

Hello. This is just my third post but I'm trying.

I do have personal experience with the TS. I got the seeds from ButchT as well as 7 pod Jonah seeds and grew them last year.

I started the seeds about the beginning of March 08 and had a very nice crop in September I believe. The TS is interesting in that it has tree-like properties more so than typical bush-like properties I normally associate with peppers. I grew them in pots. My TS plants were very prolific and grew large with woody "trunks". They over-wintered with ease and are now full of leaves. It won't be long...

Needless to say, the TS is definitely in the "Superhot" class and I in fact can't believe there are any hotter peppers, save the 7 pod. However, I have not grown the Bhut yet.

They are too hot for me to actually cook with at home and I make powders mostly but will try to make a hot sauce this year.

My Thai friends love them and it's fun to watch the whole restaurant start huffin and a puffing when everyone gets "4 star".

It's a very cool pepper with the stinger - so aptly named.

Here is an image of a couple of pods I grew last year.

I've only got one overwintered T.Scorpion plant this year and its not really doing well but I still have enough dried and frozen pods for quite a while.

Here's a nice pod pic from 2007 I thought I'd show off

2 of the Scorpion seeds I planted 2 weeks ago sprouted since yesterday. I planted them, 7 pods, and Bhut Jolokia in the same starter tray. If I could just keep this batch free of pests.....

Worlok,

If you are willing to spend a little money, Azatrol has done wonders for me in eliminating pests and saving half of my peppers, and it is doing a great job in keeping the pests away. It can be used as a foliar spray or soil drench, and it is organic.

Only problem is, it is expensive, but I didn't want my entire crop killed, so it was worth it to me.

yes, but check dosages, its my wonder product pretty much it and my nuits is all I use, however in green houses and stuff I find I might use some pyrethium or similiar particuliarly against aphid infestation, they always seem to come back otherwise.

Ok I promised some pics there not as good as Potawies and Potawie the plant is now producing odd shape pods lol. I open my mouth and it proves me wrong lol. Anyway we had heaps of rain and I had some leaf drop but my "mother plant is still got plenty of flowers and some cool looking pods. so here they are.

After not having any bugs all season, they finally found me....dammm Aphids, and on my dorsets, nagas, bhuts and Bihs, so after a good drenching with pyrethium last night, I'm off to get some Neem for back up...

Hey your Scorps look good Stilz, send some pic of your polly tunnel as you build it, I'm planning at giving one a go in a month or two

What is the history of these ButchT Scorpions? Hell, the TS was on my 2009 grow list and I ended up not finding any. Now I'm seeing that everybody has this superior ButchT strain. I sure hope I can buy seeds from somebody for 2010.

Don't worry, the Scorpions and 7-pot/pod was on my list in 2004 and it took me 3 years to find them. Sometimes the wait makes them even more special.
For me, I've found neem to be less affective as the years go on. I don't think the aphids build up immunity, but for whatever reason its not working well on my aphids anymore

Hottest Pod ive Had BT Scorp.. 7 pod plain next with the Naga's.. The scorp does really stand out though and Once tried a Naga and Scorp ya will know :D

i like the Yellow 7 pod its my Fav Tasting Pod the Heat Is Just Right, well Love it more than the Bih now.. So much in fact bought the Dot.com (dunno what gonna do with it yet)
